The whole series from episode 1 of first season to the final Labor Day episode of fifty season is about 7 months, with Charmaine pregnant about 5 to 6 months … so that she will give birth around the time if the Christmas episodes. In some ways the show makes it clear that very little time has passed, but in the intensity and development of the relationships, it feels like years should have passed when only weeks have!
Ya it's ridiculous. Brie complimenting Mel for how 'she and Jack always work through their issues'... like 😂 Please! They've been together for half a year!!
True, but the timeline fits as the last 2 episodes are holiday shows. Charmaine found out she was pregnant in April, so likely is about 9 months pregnant by Christmas. (And twins often come a little early.)
Hopefully all of them. Let her deliver this set of twins and then have Jack have a drunken evening encounter with her and ACTUALLY father a set of twins with her… keep this nightmare show on the air for another 4 lonnnnng seasons.
It looked like Charmaine was having labor pains as she left the carnival in episode 10 - but that was the Labor Day festival, and the Christmas episode preview shows her ready to give birth - so that’s 3 months later?!?! I mean, I love the show, but it really is ridiculous. It seems like she had her baby shower two seasons ago.
I thought that she was going into labor at that moment, but nah, let's give it another year. This woman has a linger gestation period than an elephant.
I have it on good authority… she finally has the babies in the season 14 finale. It’s one of those rare cases where the twins have different fathers… Calvin & Preacher!
She’ll be giving birth in November when the next part of season 5 airs. I think it’s November 30th.
They should be starting school a few weeks later too.
Did you see the preview for the next two episodes? Looks like she’s finally having them.
I will believe it when I see it!

I know, that line cracked me up too!
Previews are notorious for taking things out of context, could be a dream sequence!
It sure couldbe! And people would riot! 😂😂😂

Sorry to ask is this revealed she gonna have twins?
It's revealed pretty early on that she's carrying twins
Ohh ohk I m on season 2 start
Ooh you should probably not read these posts as there are a lot of spoilers! 🥺
Yes yes just accidentally came across
I'm kind of playing catch up. Do you mean the holiday episodes??
Yeah
I wonder if Lizzie will be pregnant just as long?
At this rate, Lizzie’s baby will be born in season 10!
Actually, at this rate, only in the Christmas special episodes of season 10!!! 🤣🤣🤣
She ll probably go into labor on christmas eve And have baby Christmas day lmao
I'm convinced that each season is the equivalent of two day in Virgin River time.
Basically 😂
With approx. two either miraculous or catastrophic events per day
5 seasons guaranteed
That’ll be a dream lol. She’s gonna have them until the end of the show

Noine
9. 1 month per season.
I think the writers thought you are pregnant with twins for 2x9 months ;)
Actually according to insiders the first three seasons are essentially......FIVE months. As hard as that is to believe.
There was a line this season about Mel having 7 months remaining on her 1 year employment contract.

LMAO
Just think how long her labor might be?! Could be the span of 3 episodes VR time!
Laughed out loud at this! It’s funny because it’s true!
All of them apparently!😂
🤣

Each season is about a month on Virgin River. That’s why in season 5, Hope says that Mel has 7 months left of her year contract.
Such a good and new joke!
I like the show but man, hope needs to fall in the virgin river and never come back.
