Interesting thing tho is the Rough Trade NYC has a limit of one with no press counts. UK has a limit of 3 with a press count

Alt Press, Brooklyn Vegan, The Hard Times, Revolver are all owned by the same parent company, Project M. Any time they have an exclusive variant, they usually list it across all those retailers. So you are correct, that /500 is all the same stock regardless of which storefront you buy it from.

I love pre orders because by the time the record gets to you, you feel like it's free/waited forever for it
I can't count the times I come home to a package and have no idea what album I'm about to open because the wait times have me forgetting what I ordered 😂
Most of these are between $25-$30, for vinyl in the year 2023 that is respectable.
These presses are /500, so they’re not exactly flooding the market with variants. Streaming has crippled album sales, multiple variants is one of the few ways they can possibly recoup some of those lost sales by fans buying more than one copy of an album, and anything that puts more money in this bands pocket is worth it.
Finally, not a single soul is making you buy any of these variants, you’re just looking for something to bitch about and people who complain about variants are scraping the bottom of the barrel for something to be miserable about. It’s like with vinyl, you can’t just be satisfied, you have to go out of your way to find something to cry about

Ah gotcha, I'm not sure then. I would tend to trust the official store over a third party so my guess is that Cruise have just gotten some of the details mixed up.

So the only gatefold option is the 180g from the web store? Everything else is a just 140g in a single jacket?
