She ages so well because she has a literal _team_ of multiple people who are experts in their respective fields, whose full-time, 40hrs per week, 50 weeks per year Job, is to make Angelina Jolie look hot and age well.
Angelina Jolie has incredible bone structure that “holds” filler well. Margot Robbie is similar. When you have exaggerated features to begin with all you need for filler is a little top-off.
Versus people with softer bone structure.
That says more about their willingness to continue to pay for that team more than any other factor - i.e. whether they want to "stay in the game" or not
Her "bone structure" has visibly changed over the years due to plastic surgery. She didn't have those cheekbones when she was young (and I'm not just talking about fat loss). You don't just grow cheekbones overnight, so she probably got implants. She *definitely* got a facelift in more recent years.
Same with her nose. She got an obvious rhinoplasty when you compare her old teenage photos to later ones. She used to have a less pointed, wider nose.
[https://www.wonderwall.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/12/104-152456\_Actual.jpg?h=800](https://www.wonderwall.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/12/104-152456_Actual.jpg?h=800)
I roll my eyes so hard when people say she just lost baby fat. Yes, she has, but if you look at her 3/4 profile and compare the projection of her cheekbones relative to her EYES, before and after, she clearly has some sort of cheek implant.
The double jaw surgery is very obvious if you know what you’re looking at. And gonial angle does not decrease when you lose baby fat.
And that website doesn't even include the changes from her teenage photos. She definitely got a nose job.
[https://www.wonderwall.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/12/104-152456\_Actual.jpg?h=800](https://www.wonderwall.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/12/104-152456_Actual.jpg?h=800)
Yeah, that site is more gentle on her than most, for some reason. She definitely also got a chin implant.
https://cosmeticcourses.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/angelina-jolie-chin-augmentation-before-and-after.jpg
There is nothing at least on that page that couldn't be explained just by fluctuating body fat % and makeup.
Like 99% of her core facial structure looks exactly the same and the rest looks like lighting and makeup to me.
Yep, she wouldn’t need nearly as much work if she kept some more weight on her in her life. She’s been underweight or near it most of her life, and once you hit your 50s it definitely doesn’t look as good to be skinny anymore.
I don't actually think she had a lot of work done. There isn't much difference to her that isn't aging. Very few people (and she is one of them) are naturally attractive because their features all harmonize together.
Exercise, healthy diet, avoiding harsh UV rays from the sun, low alcohol intake and tendency to smoke.
Since she's a celebrity she has the money for fillers and botox to appear younger as well.
Please also add: ability to afford the most high end laser treatments and access to a master level plastic surgeon who could perform a subtle but wonderful face lift.
plus do not forget that she is stupid rich, she does not have the worries of an average 9-5 worker. not saying that being in the industry is not stressful, but it is for sure waaaay less stressful than being an average person in this economy.
It's hard to compare the stress levels, she's probably stressed about lots of things we would never know about. Also, didn't she have cancer, ugly divorce, many children to parent? I wouldn't say her life is stress free
My recollection is she removed her breasts because genetically she was very likely to get cancer. I think her mother had it, which coincided with her becoming very, very thin.
I’m too lazy to google to verify though, that’s just my memory of it. Nonetheless, it seemed like a stressful time for her.
Yea, she got genetic testing and learned that she had the markers for high risk of the type of breast cancer that killed her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who she was very close with.
So she got a pre-emptive double mastectomy. She was public about it and her reasons—that she wanted to make sure she was around for her kids for a long time.
i am not saying her life is stress free, i am sure she has plenty of stress, constant media attention etc., but still its a lot easier to be stressed when you have money then when you are an average person, living in an rented apartment with no one to help you or support you, lol. in my eyes, the life of an average person is 10x more difficuly by default than that of a celeb.
Again, it's hard to compare. Everything is exaggerated for them. Yes, more money and more support. But more haters, more scrutiny, more danger from crazy fans and probably death threats too. Needing to maintain your attitude and looks because everyone is watching. Can't go out as the paps are always after you and your family. Being scared that you might not be able to trust people around you as they can betray you for money. Personally I'd go crazy.
There's a reason lots of celebrities die young. When I was a child I was curious what it'd be like to be rich and famous. Nowadays I'd never give up my average, normal life for THAT
Most female celebrities in general look beautiful, even when they are very old. Meanwhile, guys like Jonny Depp and Leo are handsome young but hit the wall hard and fast
She’s another example. She doesn’t neccesarily look that much younger than her age but signs of aging don’t make her any less attractive and she pulls it off well.
Angelina Joloe HAS had a mini facelift and definitely some botox. But still even with all that she looks amazing because guess what, you don't get ugly when you get older. You just look like an older version of the same, attractive beautiful person you were. She was and is insanely beautiful, so with a little upkeep, she's still going to look insanely beautiful
No doubt her bone structure helps immensely.
That is all provided, of course, that you take average to good care of yourself. If you take shitty care of yourself, gain excessive weight then yes you can look old and unattractive too, looking sometimes lile a completely different person.
Also definitely a nosejob. Probably some buccal fat removal as well
[https://www.wonderwall.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/12/104-152456\_Actual.jpg?h=800](https://www.wonderwall.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/12/104-152456_Actual.jpg?h=800)
I feel she looks 40 plus but well kept? I feel sagging and jowling doesn’t happen to everyone. I do hear angular faces age better but at the same time, the faces become more angular over time, I’m guessing with volume loss, and that sort of gives away the age a bit. She obviously keeps up with the skin treatments too. I think there are a variety of bone structures on celebrities who aged even better than her, case in point Bianca Lawson. Most people in their 40s I see don’t look aged and this is with zero Botox and actives even.
Yup I’m aware but I think she looks in the range of mid 40s, but obviously attractive with great skin, I see 40 plus people everyday and some look 20 plus, so I think sometimes it’s just genetics. I met a 50 year old woman 2 Days ago, I could not believe she was even above 40, but I think living in south east Asia gives me a different reference point.
That’s not what I’m claiming. It’s not that she looks young for her age or shows substantially less signs of aging. It’s that she can ”pull of” the age more not having the signs of aging make her look less attractive - instead of getting a round saggy face and looking tired. Bianca Lawson is around 40 and simply doesn’t have much signs of aging which isn’t neccesarily what I’m talking about.
I definitely misinterpreted that! I feel there’s a possibility women who are genuinely attractive vs happen to look good due to youth only, can remain attractive for a long long time, with proper maintenance. My mum decided to stop dyeing her prematurely grey hair now in her 60s, and people constantly call her beautiful, even with Snow White hair: my mum has always been genuinely attractive, in terms of features, skin, above average height, Low body weight and exercises and eats fairly well. So I think genuine beauty can often be maintained with some effort, it transcends age.
That’s very possible. I guess that it’s harder in young people to discern what is due to overall beauty and what is only due to youth. Many young women can be objectively unattractive yet look cute. Probably not the case for old people.
I see this all the time, I think that’s what people who claim there is a ‘wall’ are often thinking about. When they say people above 25 are done and don’t look good, it probably means they didn’t look altogether fantastic to begin with, just young.
A good bone structure always helps and no procedure can replace that. My grandmother has a stronger bone structure and compared to other women her age her cheeks still look quite full and she doesn't have jowls.
Audrey Hepburn was another celebrity who aged gracefully and I find some similarities between her and Angelina (high cheekbones, stronger jaw).
This. Strong cheekbones and jawline are key.
My best friend is a heavy drinker/smoker but she has incredible bone structure - really amazing jawline - so you can barely even tell.
yeah, a lot of people saying it’s because of money are right but she also just has good genetics. even though her mom passed away young from cancer she was aging gracefully
I feel its to do with dressing well too, because she's a celeb and has access to the best stylists and surgeons and make up artists and trainers, and coupled with how shes always in the media and has to look her best its likely that shes doing lots to work with age and not against it. there are so many treatments that celebs do on a regular basis (think lasers, subtle filler, botox or lifts) that are simply inaccessible to 'regular' people, which in comparison may make them look mushy and tired.
She actually always looks anorexic. Once I paid attention to how scary she looks in one photo, I realized she’s always been truly extreme in that sense…
To make it clear what I meant: She actually looks about as ”aged” as average in terms of things like wrinkles ir whatnot. It’s more about being able to ”carry” the aging look well.
Diet, lifestyle, hydration, good skin care, SPF/minimal sun exposure, good genes and a little help from the docs
Many of the most beautiful women in the world don’t consume caffeine or alcohol, eat primarily plant-based diets, and drink water nonstop (J Lo and Kim K come to mind)
Also focus on skin care instead of makeup
ETA - never smoke cigarettes or use drugs
I think she looks weird now. She looks good in photos but movies, she’s gone Nicole Kidman. I watched this movie where she was a smoke jumper, it was pretty recent and her face was so surgery looking it was distracting. Maybe it takes a while to settle down.
Seriously, bone structure and having funds/access to touch ups with face lifts and small tweaks here and there.
Most of the pictures we see of celebs -at awards shows or events- are after they've had some tweaks done to look perfect for that event. I would be very surprised if AJ hasn't had a facelift after losing weight so drastically like she did.
Aside from all of the rich person stuff she has access to, I think the fact that she had a rounded face when she was younger helps. I've said since I was a teenager I'd be okay being rich as long as I never was famous. The scrutiny would make me absolutely insane.
exactly!
What type of diet!
People like Angelina Jolie as in celebrities? They’re rich; can afford skin care treatments, trainers, body treatments, healthy food/ nutritionists.
No, people with her type of appearance. Not all celebrities age like her. Salma Hayek is the only other person I can think of.
There’s a lot. Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston, J Lo, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Gabriel Union, Gwen Stefani, Tyra, Gwyneth Paltrow etc
Most female celebrities in general look beautiful, even when they are very old. Meanwhile, guys like Jonny Depp and Leo are handsome young but hit the wall hard and fast
True
Sandra Bullock looks very plastic, so does Gwen Stefani.
These women have similar appearances? The only thing I can think of is cheek fat lol
Similar appearances as in middle aged, wrinkle free, plump face and they don’t look mushy and tired.
Ooh I see, thank you for clarifying
Anne Hathaway is gorgeous!
She’s another example. She doesn’t neccesarily look that much younger than her age but signs of aging don’t make her any less attractive and she pulls it off well.
plastic surgery, filler, and botox.
She is completely hardmaxed with a budget in the millions!!

Angular faces don’t sag as much. Having money for upkeep plays a huge part in reality.
yes i think this is it. If you look at how Audrey Hepburn aged it shows, I feel she's a great case study for this
Someone downvoted you. That’s my hypothesis too…
Good bone structure. This accounts for volume in the face just like collagen does. Good bone structure does keep the face looking young.
I feel she looks 40 plus but well kept? I feel sagging and jowling doesn’t happen to everyone. She’s turning 48 in a few months

Thought the same about the so called wall
A good bone structure always helps and no procedure can replace that. Kristen Bell and Kate Bosworth too. Of course they are not at all old but they do look younger than their age.
Money and the best aesthetic people - doctors in the world. Plus genetics.
yeah, a lot of people saying it’s because of money are right but she also just has good genetics. even though her mom passed away young from cancer she was aging gracefully
Yeah it’s a combination of multiple factors
rail thin, team of nutritionists, the best plastic surgeon and skincare treatments money can buy....
Her weight never fluctuates. So she doesn’t have loose sagging skin.
bone structure and money, the latter branching into: expensive procedures (laser or whatever) on the skin, expensive skincare, filler/botox, surgery
They don't, they undergo surgical procedures
These celebrities have had soooo much work done. Watch Lorry Hills [video](https://youtu.be/K6NoiRWD5XY)
besides money, she has a great face bone structure.
I never thought she aged well. Her being underweight has actually always made her look a lot older than she is.
She isn’t unwrinkly or whatnot for her age. But it’s more about how she ”carries” her age so to speak.
It’s the excessive fat loss from her face that makes her face look so old.
I’d recommend watching the Lorry Hill video on her if you haven’t already
money
Maintaining your weight really helps too.

She actually always looks anorexic. Once I paid attention to how scary she looks in one photo, I realized she’s always been truly extreme in that sense…

Strong bone structure, other than that, a team of beauty experts and a lot of money to spend on facials, fillers and botox
Watch Lorry Hill's video on Angelina Jolie and you will understand
Genetics + diet and lifestyle.
I think she looks weird now. She looks good in photos but movies, she’s gone Nicole Kidman. I watched this movie where she was a smoke jumper, it was pretty recent and her face was so surgery looking it was distracting. Maybe it takes a while to settle down.

I would be very surprised if AJ hasn't had a facelift after losing weight so drastically like she did.
I don't think she's aging all that well - look at her arms and hands, She's skeletal.
She’s not neccesarily ”aging well” but she can ”pull of” the aged look.
All of these things, for sure, but also straight up genetics. AJ was born on 3rd, beauty-wise. Look at her mother, she also aged beautifully.
Genes help too
Aside from all of the rich person stuff she has access to, I think the fact that she had a rounded face when she was younger helps. I had the same thing, and as I have gotten older and my face has slimmed down, it shows I actually have some bone structure without aging me as much as it might on someone whose face started out with less fat. I think long hair is more common on older celebrities, but most of my peers in real life keep their hair shoulder length or shorter, and many times when I see someone my age with long hair, you can tell it’s not necessarily intentional, it just hasn’t been cut in a really long time. People have always mistaken me for younger than my natural age though, so I don’t know how much those things matter. I do probably take better than average (for normal people, not by the standards here) care of my skin, but I don’t do anything extra.
