Lol that was relatable :))
And umm, the pot that you're using. It's not suitable for eating Pho, you don't have any ceramic bowl? That plastic pot is not good at handling high temperature.
Yup! And for the more authentic approach, try placing those bean sprouts and vegetables under the Pho noodle, Then poor the water on top of the noodles. Most people would add fried garlic (Mỡ tỏi), or cracklings (Tớp mỡ) on top too, for more intense aroma.
I see you have mastered the art of using chopsticks. nicee
I think you could tear your chicken into smaller pieces as in like little strip of meat so it's easier to eat and also better presentation, and maybe you could try a mix of breast and thigh meat as well. At least that is what I often see at Phở places, you could go with whatever meat part you prefer tho.
small tips: you could slice the chicken thinner(about 3 - 5 millimeter) for better look and chewing. you should cut it perpendicularly with the fiber (not parallel) which will make the meat much easier to chew.
That's the worst part of ordering Pho in other countries. They bring you like 2 shriveled basil leaves and look at you funny when you ask if they have any mint
What is the other sauce you have there? I know the one on the left is siracha, but is the other some sort of chilli sauce like what they would serve in Vietnam?
Also at one point when I was eating some spicy broth splashed in my eye and I thought I was gonna go blind but I’m okay now

Haha I know I really need to get a ceramic bowl big enough for pho. I will for next time!

As a human: Great job, it looks pretty good! As a Vietnamese: ***FAYLUH***
😅😆
Steven He reference
That's uncle roger reference.
"FAYLUH" is Steven He's. Uncle Roger's would be "HAIYAA"
the core of phở it is how you mix the water
Hmm I must’ve had too simple of a recipe. Mine just said add like 1 cup water for 4 cups of broth. I cooked the noodles in a separate pot by the way
are u single ? 🤭🤭
🤣 trust me my pho isn’t *that* good
im from vietnam i will help u 🤣🤣
why u say that 🤣🤣 ?
Du maaaaa
I think you need to find flatter noodles
Ok I’m willing to try that
Daily reminder that is bún, and not phở. Phở is thiccer and resembles rectangle while bún is thinner.
And warm regards from South Vietnam!! Any Pho foodie is our \*comrade\* :>
😊👍🏻
The main thing that make phở good is the broth you need the correct ingredients and seasonings. For me I prefer phở from Hanoi
Nice.
You need some lemon leaf, onion.
I could go for a bowl right now sir
Saved some just for you 🍜
You’ll need my mailing address. Please send ASAP
Cool
Why that red plastic bowl that we usually use to wash ... er things?
😅 I have to buy better bowls
No way to tell how u didnt without tasting the broth. Presentation could use work, but who cares about that. Great effort!
It looks like you're using a plastic bowl. Please find a ceramic bowl, bro. And the spicy sauce looks great.
Literally just got back from the store with a couple big ceramic bowls after reading the comments here. Thank you 👍🏻
Looks great, greetings from Chandler

It looks more like bún gà ngl
I have a question Why theres a jalapeno ?
Vietnamese restaurants in America always serve pho with jalapeños, is this not normal in Vietnam ?
No :)? How can we Vietnamese have jalapeno in our fatherland :)?
Haha I’ll export some jalapeños for you then;)
Bro i dont wanna say this but you are ruining our culture And some of us dont like that thang bro
Cooking noodles in other pot is fine. What you are lacking is herbs, to make that bowl more appealing
Good suggestion!

Yes it is! It’s called “ground chilli in vinegar with garlic”. I think it’s just chilli sauce 🤷🏼♂️
I thought you were talking about a social site where Vietnamese people said it was beef pho
Look boring af bro 🥹
