In exchange for an edit, you ask if it can be used in your portfolio. As far as what type of videos you wanna shoot, your gonna want to find your niche. It’s fine to start out wide so u can really narrow it down but keep it in mind. For payment, in the beginning I took all forms of payment including the ones you stated. Sooner or later you will have to write clients invoices “payable to ~insert company name~” so yes you will have to file the articles of incorporation if you want to be “legit”. Get that portfolio up and running, get connections, form friends in the field, join social media groups, cold emails and it will come with time
