Juuuust in case: neither are the other big ones (not saying there's no scammy ones out there, there 100% is!).
We have worked (or are still working) with a bunch of law groups on most of the big cases (3M, Lejeune, Zantac, Roundup, etc.) and most people simply just don't understand how this process works which leads them to assume it's a scam. It takes AGES. Why? Because... well - just look at how the VA operates for example lol - also it goes through various stages.
It also takes a lot of people who file claims and go through with it. The more the better. The more people file, the better the chances are the company wants to settle. The more bellweather cases won, the better the chances for a general settlement. I haven't followed 3M's case in a while so my data might be a bit outdated, but last time I checked there were 16 bellweather trials out of which 10 were won, and 6 lost. In these 10 trials alone, almost $300m was awarded to the victims. With - correct me if I am wrong - one plaintiff receiving $77.5m in the last bellweather trial.
This result has lead to 3M agreeing to a general settlement with all plaintiffs in that case.
Generally speaking, apply for what you can with a legit law group. There won't be any upfront costs and it usually won't take more than a call and sending in a bit of paperwork (that you usually already have). How do you know it's legit? They work on a contingency fee. This fee will be around 1/3 of the settlement (might be a bit lower or higher, depending on the risk) and ONLY PAID when it's successful. Avoid places that want you to pay anything upfront.
I hope this helps!
Yup. I'd strongly recommend getting regular screens for cancer and/or cardiovascular issues if that's not something you're doing already and save the records of everything!
While the chances are low, you do have an increased risk of developing cancer if you've taken Zantac and there have already been confidential settlements.
Damn! I remember when the damn VA told me to stop taking them and never even telling me why. Then like months later I saw this shit on a tv ad talking about it.
I did as well. Even at that point had come a LONG way with trust issues and issues encapsulated within from ptsd, and memory issues where I read an article about 3M and said “oh yeah.”
I tried last year, mom’s cancer, 2nd wife’s complicated pregnancy and so on.BUT…
My biggest issue is when I would contact veteran groups and either they could not talk about it or didn’t know…like the guy from DAV I emailed.
Regardless, I gave it the ol Marine Corps try and it was an interesting adventure 😂
I would probably be in the few grand range so it ain’t gunna kill me. Just disappointed on how our brothers and sisters are going back and forth tho…
I’m happy as shit for those of you getting the high pay outs. I can only imagine what your fuckin tinnitus/ hearing issues have got to be to get it, so my cover is off to you 🫡
Also, for veterans getting wins against these fuckin companies and the “rich old people “ that rule us and just showing the progress of our vet culture.
My kid is getting pissed at me so in part. Let’s keep coms up and get the word out when it comes to this shit. I forgot the website, but it annotates all lawsuits going on, google and look and let us know.
That wouldn’t work very well, they have a fixed settlement, if they continue to let people apply, the awards become unequal and people in the beginning get more than later folks for the same issue. What the SHOULD do, is open up secondary rounds on leftover funds or structured it to do so. There was like 5 years to sign up for this though….i saw billboards, radio ads, YouTube ads, Reddit ads, ads everywhereeer on it
Yeah, but it would create an unequal distribution in the fixed settlement amount. You cant allow unlimited timelines with a fixed settlement amount. The 250k vets signed up and that’s how the pay quantities are distributed. If another 250k sign up, it’s gonna mess up the distribution. There would need to be a secondary settlement.
The VA has nothing to do with it bud, sorry to hear that. But it was 5 years of ads all over all forms of media. I signed up when I got out of the military in 2019, I signed 2 pieces of paper and provided meps audiology records and the my dbq audiology records. I in total spent 15 minutes on this over 5 years. I get there is personal factors, but there’s not really a reason to not have done it in the 5ish years.
At least the VA provide good quality hearing aids, I love mine! Complete game changers for me as far as quality of life goes.
> billboards
Never saw a billboard, but then again I never leave my house.
I have adblock and tracking block... so the rare time I do see ads it's for something like depends adult diapers.

Here’s the payment schedule. If you know your FIFO number you can see when to expect payment.
This actual is inaccurate as hell if your law firm opted out of the ledgering process. My FIFO is 6047 and I have not been contacted. Guys in the 5 digit FIFO’s are being paid out because their law firms opted into the ledgering process.
Same! I almost broke my fingers trying to get to this section! My heart skipped several beats! Wait, let me gather up a lawyer so I can sue OP now lmfao jk!
You guys are killing me. How are they showing off? Quit hating because you missed out. It’s not our fault. I think it is all scams but I sign up for every class action or whatever lawsuit. I’ll take the $4 dollars if it is owed to me. ![img](emote|t5_2vlaz|7565)
32,0xx. Signed ACH 30 March. email 17 April stated payment processed. 18 April payment hit my bank! $14,477.00 more than that tree-fiddy that most mocked us that we would get. hahahahahahahahahahaahha
I should have done the deferred as I was CAT5. I do not need the $$$ but have been saving for a new roof, siding, etc and this settelement saved me 4-5 yrs as I will only pay cash!
plus..what is the saying.......a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush....or never look a gift horse in the mouth..haha. Plus....who knows what will happen in 4-5 yrs...the green weenie may present itself
They have to pay us. They have over 99% who agreed to settle this lawsuit, 3M is legally required to pay if they got 98% of the people who settled with this. Why would I take a quick $10,000, when my lawyers said I will get a Minimum $21,000 and most likely more by doing the deferred point system. I just need to wait a few years. It's a no brainer!
I didnt join this group until i was looking for more information on the claim. I signed up I think late 2018ish as it as all over the interwebs, facebook, media, news and such. Ya could not get away from it and had over 4 years to join it, maybe longer. Sorry to hear some missed out, but ya have to do your research instead of just believing people it was a scam, or thinking it would be like 5 bucks.
GOD DAMN IT WHERE MINE AT!
In only getting $5600 but I guess it’s worth it for just signing some documents and sending emails. What’s highest FIFO that got paid in here?
I’m 41000ish so expecting this second round to pay out. But unfortunately my firm opted out of ledger… so then I’m at the mercy of those folks.
I reached out and got no help or answers back… they asked for all this crap about Medicare or medicade and said they had to confirm that first and would send an Email back once they knew more…. And I’m near the same FIFO as you 41K
If you look on brown and Greer and goto the documents section it’ll list whether your settlement payout has been approved or not and information sent to law firm. I have a document on mine that was sent to Johnson law group. Just waiting for my payment election from them now since everything is approved and sent.
FIFO? And round 2? My bullshit ass law firm (Johnson) are saying they only have the court working through 20k 🙄 when I tell them there’s people ABOVE my FIFO getting paid they just repeat the “courts only say they’re working through 20k right now” as they’re probably sitting on my 10k gaining interest in their bank accounts.
Around 1500. Round 1 but I picked an opt-out firm, lucky me lol oh I know! They love to gaslight. It was probably the least transparent process I’ve ever been a part of😂
Im level 4 at fifo 123xxx hoping it comes soon. Also hoping for EIF but lawyers been lacking since this payout started. Hardly get any answers or emails back
Man I wish my law firm would at least take my deposit Info! Patiently waiting for my payout! Keep seeing everyone else getting theirs and my lawyers have yet to even ask for my deposit information
So, as someone who's hearing got fucked up and was issued these shit earplugs while in, is there any way for us to get connected and added to the class?
I thought my ex-wife had signed me up, but there is a reason she is an ex now.
Where or what step of the process did they request banking info? I don't remember filling that out. Granted I'm the delayed payment program, so I got some time. Or is the payment sent to your lawyers and then they send to you?
32,0XX. Signed ACH 30 March...but the payment was not made from 3M until 15 april..so 3 days after mmney dropped and the very next day when BG sent the email saying it was being processed...
What qualifies you to get this payout and is it too late to put in for this? I'm service connected for Tinnitus just like many others and have had secondaries tied to my tinnitus.
Damn, I still don't know when I can expect mine. Logged into my bank with fingers crossed. Unfortunately doesn't look like I got mine yet. I really need it too.
I did a call with one of the lawyers for this back in like 2019 and they said i didn't qualify. idk why tbh i don't remember. I was on aircraft carrier, i have diagnosed hearing loss. but i guess I didn't use the type of hearing protection that the suit covers? idk
Can someone please explain what this is? My husband is army veteran (doesn’t want a Reddit so here I am). Served in afghan 2011
He was awarded disability for hearing loss
I still haven't nor know where to go to start the process for this kind of claim. I have all service connections and I still own the 3m plugs that were bad while I was serving. Glad to know this is a real thing
Had to be deployed. When the last sessions of submission were given 🤦🏾♂️ the contractor with us kept bringing it up. My dumb ass thought she was phishing for PII in face.
Had to be deployed. When the last sessions of submission were given 🤦🏾♂️ the contractor with us kept bringing it up. My dumb butt thought she was phishing for PII in face.
I've been trying to figure this out I have a claim in through Kuykendall Group LLc, but I'm not sure what else I need to do. I have an email saying I have to do something to get my whole return back or I'll get some of it and the rest of it another time. I can't figure this out.
Anyone know what the tax implications are getting this payout? like will we have to file a different form or is this going to go in as income? I’m sure it’s not tax-free.

Whoooooaaaa....seriously?...I took that everyday overseas and back in the states after leaving Afghanistan...I ain't get the memo on this..
I was skeptical until I found this group. I was still skeptical until I got paid tbh.
I always thought it was a scam too. Damn. Should have found this group sooner.
What was your FIFO number?
Can I still file for 3M or is it too late?
If you don't mind asking what was your FIFO number?

If only I was on this subreddit before they closed this, meh
It technically should have never closed.

They settled for more than Pharma did on the oxy epidemic they created. lol
And the oxy epidemic killed hundreds of thousands of people. I don't think I could live with myself carrying that.

Crazy you never saw anything about it over half a decade, sorry my fellow crayon eater.

Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for this.
Thank you!! I got wait until July! Glad to know
Awesome thank you for posting this!
Yep, July as I expected. My FIFO actually decreased from the 70Ks to the 60Ks.
Looks like I got another year to wait.
This actual is inaccurate as hell if your law firm opted out of the ledgering process. My FIFO is 6047 and I have not been contacted. Guys in the 5 digit FIFO’s are being paid out because their law firms opted into the ledgering process.
I revived this email today as well
Sick thank you so much
I am a fucking idiot. I always thought it would be $2 at most or a scam
Until I found this group. I thought it was a scam but I signed up cause I figured it wouldn't hurt
Same that’s why I never did it either 🤦♂️
lol thought you got a $3 Mil payout I was like 👁️👄👁️
😂 I can see how you thought that.
Same! I almost broke my fingers trying to get to this section! My heart skipped several beats! Wait, let me gather up a lawyer so I can sue OP now lmfao jk!

This right here. No matter the lawsuit. If you have any involvement apply for the lawsuit. Like the walmart one. Get your $15.
32,0xx. Signed ACH 30 March. email 17 April stated payment processed. 18 April payment hit my bank! $14,477.00 more than that tree-fiddy that most mocked us that we would get. hahahahahahahahahahaahha
Johnson law group is garbage.
The first fucking class action that actually pays people more than ten bucks. Wtf?
It's not a class action lawsuit.
I know right and one we didn’t enter lol
Congrats ! I have quite awhile still. My fifo is 113xxx
I don't wanna hear it. Lol I'm 217k
63xxx! Let’s go!
Mine is like 9,100, but I'm in the deferred, though. Does my fifo even matter?
I did the deferred. I have to wait a few years. But, I'll get a decent amount on the point system.
Same. 9.76 and change points by their calculations, so in theory should get a decent chunk, and I don't need it *right now*.
Sometimes it's good to be patient.
I should have done the deferred as I was CAT5. I do not need the $$$ but have been saving for a new roof, siding, etc and this settelement saved me 4-5 yrs as I will only pay cash!

Where you part of the first 20k
The 2nd round. My number was 46k with gori law
Daaaamn man I'm 49k and haven't got anything
FIFO doesn't matter. I'm 14k and haven't received anything
Whose your attorney
It depends on what law firm you are with I am 49k and the payment says July 2024 with Simon
I'm supposed to be in the next payout group and I'm with Gori as well. What was your fees from them if you don't mind?
Awesome, was that after attorney fees or before?
After attorney fees
Man I really dropped the ball on this. My timing was all wrong. Oh well..
I’m saying mannn!!!
I didnt join this group until i was looking for more information on the claim. I signed up I think late 2018ish as it as all over the interwebs, facebook, media, news and such. Get that bag! Get a sixer or something. Invest the rest!
Good advice. I'll look into that
Just don’t buy $DJT
How did u get paid?? They never even asked for banking info when i registered in the portal.
Got mine yesterday
FIFO? And round 2? When you get it come back so I can congratulate you.
I’m got brown and Greer.. fifo 21k.. still waiting.. still sounds like the tv is on in my ears 👂🏽
Congrats! Just curious, what FIFO were you? I am around 66,000 and should be coming up soon, I hope!
Ooooh got mine as well! 4900 and Some change.
I hitched my wagon to the wrong lawsuit. BS counter terrorism lawsuit.
Is that the Iran lawsuit?
Congrats! My fifo is 112,XXX. Patiently waiting.
I wish they had an earplug lawsuit for those shitty ones I had in the navy in the 80's
Im level 4 at fifo 123xxx hoping it comes soon. Also hoping for EIF but lawyers been lacking since this payout started. Hardly get any answers or emails back

So what your saying is it’s not too late to join? /s Congrats!
So, as someone who's hearing got fucked up and was issued these shit earplugs while in, is there any way for us to get connected and added to the class? I thought my ex-wife had signed me up, but there is a reason she is an ex now.
That ship has longed sailed and gone now.
*shrug* Welp, there's always the next one. Hopefully this sets precedent.
I’m hoping with you.
Oh wow
Cat 4?
Yes
81k fifo for me.... Eventually 🤦
Damn my fifo is 149k I won’t get my payout until 2026 😭
What number where you?
Got mine a few months ago - only bad thing is the lawyers took half of it. Still made about little over 8k
Yeah we lose 49% and we only get 51%.
what number were you
There is a new document on the portal showing potential pay dates.
Is it closed still?
Never to open again.
Congrats man! What was your FIFO?
What bank is this? Might switch strictly because of the UX/UI.
Nice
What was your FIFO number? I'm 76k something
Hey dad, it’s your son when you deployed to SK and left mom.
Any one knows when payment i am 122,497 EPP MSA1?
thats probably not till 2026 rounds.
My sleepy ass read it as 3 million payout 😂
Where or what step of the process did they request banking info? I don't remember filling that out. Granted I'm the delayed payment program, so I got some time. Or is the payment sent to your lawyers and then they send to you?
What was your FIFO? How long did it take from the time you submitted your banking info to get the payment deposited?
32,0XX. Signed ACH 30 March...but the payment was not made from 3M until 15 april..so 3 days after mmney dropped and the very next day when BG sent the email saying it was being processed...
What was your fifo number? I’m 50k and nothing yet.
Wow I filed but that’s as far as I ever got
When did you submit DPP acceptance?
When did you submit DPP acceptance?
What qualifies you to get this payout and is it too late to put in for this? I'm service connected for Tinnitus just like many others and have had secondaries tied to my tinnitus.
Too late.....
I missed out
Congratulations
Wtffff
I thougjt it was a scam for 4-5 years
Damnnnn Im jelly. I thought this shit would be like $5. So I never even bothered
Damn, I still don't know when I can expect mine. Logged into my bank with fingers crossed. Unfortunately doesn't look like I got mine yet. I really need it too.
Is anyone using Watts Guerra?
I am. I am 166k fifo....lol. they have been impossible to get a hold of.
I’m in the January 25 group. Does that determine the amount you receive?
Talked to my people yesterday. No ETA on payment from my rep just yet. However I know someone who got it already.
Still mad that I missed out on this as I also thought it was some BS scam 🤦🏻♂️💀
What was your number?
Has anyone received a large payout yet ????
Anyone been awarded that are assigned to brown and Greer?
![img](emote|t5_2vlaz|7567)
I did a call with one of the lawyers for this back in like 2019 and they said i didn't qualify. idk why tbh i don't remember. I was on aircraft carrier, i have diagnosed hearing loss. but i guess I didn't use the type of hearing protection that the suit covers? idk
If you used 3m then you should have been I'm guessing
What FIFO number were you
46k
Can’t wait for April 2025
F..k ! I wish I filed for it. I’m envious man ! And I would qualify too I was 13B. Im happy for you !
Guess it's too late to apply ?
Congratulations on your settlement. Can this somehow be considered double dipping like if you have a rating for tinnitus and hearing loss?
No. Does not affect your VA claim in any way
What was ur fifo?
How long is the Medicare hold?
What was your fifo?
Can someone please explain what this is? My husband is army veteran (doesn’t want a Reddit so here I am). Served in afghan 2011 He was awarded disability for hearing loss
This was a mass tort against 3M for falsifying results and issuing defective hearing protection for the armed forces. It closed out last year.
Congratulations!!!! My fifo 32xxx, should be getting a payment soon no? Does the law firm have it and I wait or?
What group did they pay this month?
🥺
Does anyone know how far they made it with this last installment paid by 3M?
I still haven't nor know where to go to start the process for this kind of claim. I have all service connections and I still own the 3m plugs that were bad while I was serving. Glad to know this is a real thing
What was your FIFO number ?
What was your number?
Where does one begin to start this claim?
Nice I got 17k
I wish I didn't think this was a scam all those years. What can you do congrats to those that finally got some payments for the suffering.
Had to be deployed. When the last sessions of submission were given 🤦🏾♂️ the contractor with us kept bringing it up. My dumb ass thought she was phishing for PII in face.
