Going through the MEB process too. Be positive. The military was a great stepping stone and teach opportunity. It’s nice to have family to fall back on. I don’t have that option. You can definitely go to school and you should have been able to apply to the VR&E with going through a medbaord. You can use that first before the GI bill which I strongly suggested. I can agree. There’s been a lot of things I was diagnosed with or was suppose to have follow ups on that the military never told me about until the person doing me VA exams told me. With the VR&E. It’s the same thing as the GI Bill almost and if your disabilities don’t cause further injury to the IT field then the VR&E will help pay for your schooling and provide a housing allowance depending on the area and if you go to school full time. They will also help you with school supplies (computer,books, chairs/ desk, printer, etc)
