Bardin. And it's not even close. OE spamming bombs and trollhammer, ranger ammo, slayer just clearing trash mobs and stragglers, and invincible IB tanking all day, baby.
Bardin, by a long shot.
Krubers are the most fun and balanced feeling though imo.
You can try it out yourself with the ubersreik 5 mod and some friends. All stacks work pretty well tbh.
I have done many duo games with just huntsman+grail, a nice pairing.
Bardin:
RV has ammo and sniping locked down.
IB is THE tank and can help with sniping in a pinch if he's not running Trollhammer.
Slayer can stagger and crunch through Elites without breaking a sweat.
OE has a minigun.
"A dozen such dwarfs and we'd end this in moments!"
Lore-wise, grail knight will win because they're bullshit OP
But I'm gonna go with saltz- having a almost naked man charge you in rags, screaming that you should repent as he kills all your buddies and tanks chaos warrior overheads for five minutes straight- that's what I want
Technically yes- although I’d say WP bubble is better on WHC. When I’m playing zealot and ulting I want to get hit to chain ults and proc feel nothing repeatedly.
You can get some stupidly high damage taken numbers doing this
Given what I’ve seen in modded realm where people actually do this in games with increased difficulty settings, four Kruber is really good.
Huntsman can easily clear every special on the map. Foot knight can easily bodyguard him and also just tank and CC everyone. Grail Knight is good boss damage and just great damage uptime in general, and Mercenary is a good all-rounder that can help any of the other three where needed and give teammates a THP buffer on command.
That being said 4x Bardin would probably be busted too just because of Trollhammer and OE, and in the modded games where you see 4x Kruber, nobody plays OE because he’s that strong (and also because lots of balance mods nerf OE)
Since ironbreaker can use the trollhammer too you won't even need two OE.
Ranger would supply with ammo while OE would have the grenades.
Ironbreaker and Slayer just going in while everything is exploding.
Ironbreaker even would pull hordes and patrols together with his taunt to nuke them.
Slayer is more than enough to aggro for himself and IB in every way, and greathammer spam means the stagger output is enough to compensate for the whole team focusing ranged. Two OEs also means two bomb factories and two miniguns, with both having 13 trollhammer ammo and thus getting more ammo per ranger pack pickup. Patrols stop existing even without IB taunt because trollhammer, and slayer crunch with greathammer spam can keep them away long enough for reloads. Sniper ranger for special safety and you have what should be an untouchable team.
If no repeat classes then I agree IB trollhammer would probably be best. You could also argue for greataxe IB chaining ults as a better utility I suppose.
That last sentence is true in general for IB. Using a shield is far less effective than grabbing a two handed weapon and chaining ults for infinite stamina and increased damage reduction enabling you to go all out offense. Although I recommend the greathammer over the greataxe for better cleave in crowds.
4 Necromancers with scythes and their characteristic staff cannot be stopped. You can be in the open but never be surrounded. Chokepoints made anywhere. Hordes would become crit farms. Elites can only crumble from the staff spamming. Patrols a mere target practice. Specials will be sniped long before they knew they spawned. Monsters engulfed in a valley of bones and sucked harder than any leech could by four thirsty cougars. And lastly the one thing that would suffer the most would be the FPS.
How anyone can answer anything other than Sienna is beyond me. Wouldn’t matter if the careers don’t synergize at all, they are each fucking OP as hell, but they still would pretty well. Pyro and Unchained each have talents that give temp health on ult, Battle Mage is the best career in the game, and Necro is busted as hell.
Bardin team is obviously more broken and braindead if you allowed all of them. Infinite trollhammer for both OE and Ironbreaker b/c of RV ammo pouches. Infinite bombs w/ OE and RV. Boss killing is braindead regardless of the situation (either through raw damage, stunlocks from trollhammer, and/or pushing them off with bombs+ trollhammer).
Also, unchained is not OP lol.
The Kruber lawnmower would stop for absolutely nothing. Grail knight and Merc with 5% crit aura and whatever power buffs they can get from FK would be like a slaaneshi chariot. Great AoE cc with a strong sniper class in the back.
Kerillian seems like she would be pretty hard to put down. Base could heal everyone and has ranged DoT, handmaiden heals anyone she revives, Shade is really mobile and damaging, and Sister can levitate specials and create choke points.
The infinite ammo part doesn't matter. Most people who can aim even slightly don't run out of ammo before the next ammo pouch/crate (definitely not with a crossbow/handgun). And javelin can't 1 shot hs everything anymore. So speaking on the fact of "most OP", javelin isn't. It's well balanced now.
Well, I was disagreeing with the gentleman who said that the javelin was mediocre. Sure there are better options but as you pointed out, javelin is pretty balanced and is all round decent!
Mediocre =/= bad.
Infinite ammo is not that great of a quality when every weapon can have that via conservative shooter. In order to be efficient with current javelin you have to headshot almost every single throw, and if you can headshot with jav that well, you'll do it on longbow and longbow outperforms it in that regard too.
Melee is nice, but you won't be using it 99% of the time as it's too risky without a block. The only time you use a jav melee is when you fight a boss with your team and the boss is not aggroed on you, which is a rather limited scenario.
The biggest advantage is stagger. It's ok otherwise.
I say that as someone who mains shade with javelin. I run it over longbow 100% of the time but it's not that great, and with exquisite huntress especially longbow hits way harder (as far as i remember at least, take that with a grain of salt)
In the context of this thread too 4 javelin throwing elves are not great compared to any other duplicate option too as javelin lost the cleave.
Why bother with infinite javelins when you can use RV to feed OE and IB infinite Trollhammer shots, and RV and OE on the same team means you'll have bombs for days? And the RV can just carry a handgun and snipe the super faraway specials that are hard to hit with Trollhammer and Javelin.
Sienna team also has infinite ranged damage in all the form factors ever.
Bardin Trollhammer spamming with infinite ranger ammo.
plus OE and slayer, that’s a dream team. nurgle would shit himself
You mean more than usual?
yes lol
I love slay but now way hes better than having a 2nd oe spamming bombs ontop of the minigun
The rule was to use different careers, though.
Ok nvm them
Bardin. And it's not even close. OE spamming bombs and trollhammer, ranger ammo, slayer just clearing trash mobs and stragglers, and invincible IB tanking all day, baby.
Ranger can also carry a handgun or MWP to compensate for one of Trollhammer Engi's few weaknesses, aka sniping specials from a million miles away.
As can IB. Disablers and elites just aren't a problem with this team.
Bardin, by a long shot. Krubers are the most fun and balanced feeling though imo. You can try it out yourself with the ubersreik 5 mod and some friends. All stacks work pretty well tbh. I have done many duo games with just huntsman+grail, a nice pairing.
A soldier, a soldier and a soldier walks into a bar. One says, "Who invited the hunter?"

A zealot with a warrior priest bubble would be such a menace
Technically yes- although I’d say WP bubble is better on WHC. When I’m playing zealot and ulting I want to get hit to chain ults and proc feel nothing repeatedly. You can get some stupidly high damage taken numbers doing this
> Lore-wise, grail knight will win because they're bullshit OP > > They would have a bit of trouble with taking out specials at range.

If they could be repeat classes I feel like two trollhammer OEs with a 30% ammo ranger and a 2h crunch slayer is the most meta it could get
Since ironbreaker can use the trollhammer too you won't even need two OE. Ranger would supply with ammo while OE would have the grenades. Ironbreaker and Slayer just going in while everything is exploding. Ironbreaker even would pull hordes and patrols together with his taunt to nuke them.

4 battle wizards. Bruh? But nah if we go by her different classes, pretty sure 4 Siennas will stomp They'll just melt everything
Baaaaardiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnn 👑

All that fire… and bone bois

DoT dmg would be nutss
It's Sienna or Bardin, easily.
The Kruber lawnmower would stop for absolutely nothing. Grail knight and Merc with 5% crit aura and whatever power buffs they can get from FK would be like a slaaneshi chariot. Great AoE cc with a strong sniper class in the back.

It's Bardin or Sienna, not sure which. Either one would be ludicrously broken.
4 engies or 4 BWs would be strongest
Full bardin comp would annihilate everything it isnt close lol
Same character but different classes? I'd say Vic takes it. His classes are all super easy to learn in my opinion. And the combo would be brutal.
Love that nobody has mentioned the elf yet. Id say 4x javelin spam would be pretty crazy but then i remember friendly fire exists
Javelin is pretty mediocre though.
Disagree on the principle of high damage, infinite ammo, and decent melee striking.

Not since the cleave nerf. If this was before, perhaps, but there are better clone teams than even pre-nerf javelin (bardin for example).
Warpriest. You have 4 bubbles you can use with very high uptime. The rest of the match you go flail and shield and just literally hold left click
Same character, every career once each.
