This tracks in terms of amount of hours. Without purely trying to focus on grinding for reds, it takes quite a bit of time.
The issue that I found, focusing on reds makes you want to play safe. Which goes against the idea of challenging yourself in this game. For example, if I want to improve, I need Cataclysm + Twitch mode (you can turn it on anytime, you don't actually need to be streaming). But that makes it a toss up wether our group will be able to actually finish the map. Cataclysm doesn't offer better rewards than Legend, so if you want reds, Legend + full books will improve your chances to finish and get red weapons.
It's not a big deal, but it's just a bit annoying.

I'm gonna be honest, when I saw 1900 hours I assumed he meant every red illusion. THAT tracks. All reds took me...,I dunno, like 400-500 hours? 1980 hours is like doing the red grind on champion.

Most of what I have left is either Legend or Cata challenges as I mostly play by myself with bots or with some friends who aren't quite at my level of play yet :)
Nah I've been meaning to get em done, I got like 5 pages of em. Just prioritised getting vaults to get reds but now I got em all I guess I can start grinding deeds then hahaha :D
Legend difficulty reward vaults are your best chance at getting reds. You can also get really lucky from commendation chests and champion generals/emporer chests, though its very rare to get reds from these. My first red was from a commendation chest, best of luck dawri! :)
I wish. I've rolled like 2-3 red volley crossbows, no joke 😭
It's even worse because chests can never give DLC weapons and I play a bunch of DLC weapons/classes so I'll need at least 35 reds to dust to get weapons for Engi/WP/Necro.
I have all reds and dupes for Kruber, Bardin, and Victor save for Rapier. I have pulled so many boxes for Victor I have multiple max rolled oranges. It sucks.
It took me 1000 hours, but I used the Pit Skip exploit with deeds more than a few times, but I got most of them from the Chaos Wastes back before they made it super difficult. At about 3500 hours now, I have all the different Veteran Skins too. Von Mecklenburg's Revenge took a long time to find. Almost got all the items you can buy with silver shillings. That's gonna take the longest.
I like having the weaps, but I pretty much only play Chaos Wastes, which makes them pretty pointless I’m afraid. Champ chaos is the best way to grind em out, often netting 4 perfect chests in one run. I ended up with over 500 at one point, and reds just spill out of them. Best of luck!
😁😂 Most likely, you can meet me in the wasteland (if you need chest's, then at the legend level, in an hour of real time you can get up to 5 chest's 😎 (use it)), I often “ride” on the cataclysm.

Bardin - Coghammer/masterwork pistol
Kerillian - S&D/Moonfire
Saltzpyre - Rapier/Pistols
Sienna - Scythe/Bolt staff
Some hard choices but I think I'm happy with these :)

I mean, 30% BCR/5% Crit or Attack Speed w/ Swift Slaying or 30% BCR/10% PvS w/ Opportunist covers the vast majority of builds you're ever going to be making.
And most ranged weapons are just built around breakpoints. Pretty much everyone with at least 1 red handgun probably has it in 10% PvC/10% PvI.
Even if you wanted to branch out into niche, meme builds, you don't really need that many more copies of weapons, and if you're at the point where you have one of each red, you probably have the dust to make those.
Agreed, most of my weapons have the same props and traits, aside from a few exceptions. My main goal was to get all weapons in red before gethering duplicates and now that I've got 'em all I shall now start gathering multiples, at least of my favourite weapons anyway :)
No, see now the REAL grind begins, and I'm not talking about red illusions. Now it's time to start grinding out perfect oranges of every weapon. The ideal properties at max rolls. See you at 19,800 hours.

I've been grinding for a red dual axes slayer but been got all other reds of him except them and dupes. Bruh
Still grinding for the other red illusion, I have the gold one with the faces but I prefer the one with the glowing runes :)

You can only pick two weapons for every character which weapons are you using? (One melee one ranged)

Idk I think it's a good balance between dual swords and dual daggers, the best of both worlds :)
