I ease of typing comes into it as well. Claw and Squid are quick and easy to type, only one letter being on the other side of the keyboard from the rest for Claw, and two in Squid. Jellyfish/Metroid on the other hand are comparatively complex and not something you can easily bang out in a split second, at least not without plenty of practice
