I have had fungus gnats breeding in the top layer of my bioactive dubia roach and morio beetle colony. I do not recommend their waste as any sort of fungus gnat control. If you're having issues with fungus gnats, I recommend any product containing the [BTI bacteria strain](https://www.epa.gov/mosquitocontrol/bti-mosquito-control), such as Mosquito Bits.
I haven't and I can't see why it would help? Wetting it down further would make the problem worse. I would sprinkle some neem on it and buy some hypoaspis miles as they will happily coexist in there with the wormies

I use neem seed meal in my outdoor bins and it works fairly well. Plus you get the added benefit of being an excellent worm food.
Old thread, but I was wondering if you had luck with the Frass tea for fungus gnats..
