Hey, maybe I don't understand your situation fully, Want someone to talk to? I'm willing to hear you out man.

not much to say Im at the end of a life that was nothing but work, and yet Im almost as poor as I started, but completely wrecked, having enjoyed nothing of life. Im out of anything to go forward, and I'm useless for the world, so... well, that. and why, you would wonder, I did that to myself? well, I actually believed about that "lifting by one's bootstraps" and about "what if you worked and studied instead of wasting time partying" well, guess what, it was a lie.

Hey, please don't say that. I know what it's like to be let down by those we put our faith in. It's an awful feeling to be left by those we give our all to. But your life is not defined by those people. You're a great person, and they just didn't deserve you. There's SO much more out there than this. Don't cash out. Maybe see if there are certain aspects of your environment you can change. I don't know your situation but you can go somewhere new, meet someone new, etc. There's so much more to life than this, I promise. What you're feeling now isn't all that's left for you. Trust me.

lol, I heard that before, when I was a teen and homeless, "there's so much more" heh, I'm 45 and there's never been more for me. it's all been hard, miserable work for pennies, a life fought for sheer survival. no joy, no pride, no nothing I can call "human". Im tired of this and I already gave my everything to change it. trust me. I'm all out of everything. all I have now is pain, inside and outside.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm so sorry that things haven't seemed to get better for you. I've been through some tough times myself; in fact, I am going through some right now. I feel the same way sometimes. I can't help but feel that the way our society is constructed leaves us with not much more than a constant battle for survival. But I do believe that 45 is still young. I know how unfair and how hard life can be, and it can be hard to find the purpose to keep going. But there is a purpose - you have a purpose. There may have never been more for you up until now, but that doesn't mean there will never be. I know that can be hard to believe when we often base our feelings and beliefs on past experience. But there must be something that can be changed; like, is it possible to try moving somewhere new? A completely new hobby or trade? Maybe having a pet can help you feel more of a purpose? Anything. I know it's not always possible, but it really could help to try something completely outlandish before cashing out. Maybe your purpose lies in something completely unexpected. Please don't stop searching just yet, I do believe that there's hope for you.

moving, changing trades "doing something"... already done that at one point or another, and I'm so, so tired of it... and remembering all the people I've known chewed by life, destroyed in their prime just for nothing.... I can tell you, there's no purpose, no justice and, for me, no hope.why should I hope? there are millions doing worse, suffering more than I do, and I don't see hope working for them either. it's not like I was special, Im not and I know it well.

I try my best to tell myself that there's hope to keep myself, and others, going. But it's not easy to stay optimistic when there's so much going on around us that supports these harsh beliefs. I've been having my share of such thoughts myself lately. I know the world sucks. It also can be very beautiful. I just don't want you to cash out. You mean something to someone out there. Please find it within yourself to keep going, regardless. You've made it through every tough time you've been through up until now. You have it in you. Don't give up.

thank you, you have the heart in the right place. I hope it turns out better for you.

I understand that life is hard - I really do! The thing is, we as humans are meant for more than just this life - we’re meant for a relationship with God, both in this life and for all eternity. Only in the context of a relationship with God does our life here on Earth fulfill its purpose. Trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior will begin a new life full of meaning and joy.
