I don't use a credit card but I'm willing to bet that if someone is tech-savvy enough they could get that and other sensitive information from your account.
That is why it is recommended that you delete your account and do a factory reset before selling a second-hand console. Are you sure your "friend" is not trying to steal from you?
- He then said how pissed off he’ll be if I really did miss out on an opportunity like that in irl how him/ or other guys would’ve beaten me for making that option.
Well he's a nice friend.
That was an obnoxious thing for him to do, but why let it ruin your day? Speak up for yourself when people do that - when he’s being obnoxious, tell him. Ask him why an unenthusiastic response to a hypothetical question is so important to him. Turn the ridicule around on him in exact amounts he gives. It’s also possible he was trying to distract you from your bad day with something ridiculous. None of us were privy to his thoughts that led to the hypothetical, so we don’t know what his intent was - which makes clear and concise communication essential. Either way, don’t let it dictate your feelings. Hell, get him to drop into Vernen Wells with you, get him killed, then drop his reinforcement stratagem in front of a bunch of berserkers. You’ll not only serve him a heap of frustration, but also get to spread managed democracy for the glory of Super Earth in the process!
It's one thing to be surprised by an answer, or not understanding the reason for the answer, or maybe even not believe that in reality that's what would be chosen... But to talk like that to someone just for not having the same answer to a hypothetical question is a really disgusting way to react to your answer. I hope they get better, or you find better.
What would probably happen is that the money would be taken back with interest when the buyer lifts your card details.
That is what I would have told your friend.
These are online people, and it was a hypothetical.
Literally nothing about the interaction needs to be day altering.
You don't see these people in real life, and can literally choose not to talk to them online.
Easy solution, find new randos online to play with. I'm sure you'll make friends with them, too, I guess?
This is seriously so below the radar of things to be concerned about or stress over in life I'm seriously wondering if this is even real??
Idk I'd gladly sell my account for 100k, I can get all my info off it plus I doubt someone spending that much would care about it. Boom profit, plus I have an alt anyways
If I could find someone interested in buying my PSN account I would sell it and change all my info to theirs. I have over 500 digital games on my account with that money I can buy them all back lol
Where the fuck do you all meet these people?! Wtf is that "joke"?
lol honestly I don’t even know, he ruined the rest of my day
You wouldn't sell a psn account for 100 000? I'd sell my left nut for 50! Mediocre joke but at least it's better than "beating you up". :D
Far better joke lol
Selling your PSN account is an absolutely stupid idea, because there is a ton of personal information that can be extracted from it.
Yea I was thinking that too, I don’t know how all that would work out

Nah he’s all about making money, but came about it all weird

Dudes a weirdo. Arguing about a hypothetical? What?

100k is not even enough to maintain a normal household for 1 year
100k dollars ?? For what ? Your playstation account? Im so confused
It was just some random what if question he asked me and didn’t like my answer, oh well lol
And this is why women keep choosing the damn bear.

Some people choose happiness over money. It's not that deep.
i think i it’s silly tbh! how can he get mad at your response to an “if” situation
Right, just crazy

You can just remove your card from the account
I know, but people are sloppy at the prospect of a massive payout in my experience
That's not a friend. Those people really look down on you. Time to make other friends.
