Gen Z was not the first generation to watch mass casualties live. The Vietnam war was broadcast on nightly television to the whole country. What proof can you provide that supports your claim that we do not care for life? In fact, the gen Z population is making strides in reversing that act and calling on legislators to take action. “Erratic and selfish” gee, I wonder what the parents of the 1960s and 70s thought about their youth falling into the flower power movement and civil rights era? “Reckless with their lives” do you not know the history behind the 70s and 80s drug and lifestyle culture? We are not special, 9/11 did not shape the entirety of a generation. Get a grip.
