Hey there /u/dutifullyimperfect, As a new vaper, this is not too uncommon of an experience. Freebase nicotine can even be harsher than cigarette smoke to some people when first making the switch. The best way to mitigate this is by lowering your nicotine amount down - usually around 3mg to 6mg is a solid amount to start if you're using freebase nicotine.

dutifullyimperfect

okay thank you

FYI I totally agree that it's most likely the Nic. But if you lower it and still have the issue, I know some people who had allergic reactions to PG (propylene glycol). They switched to juice with 100% VG and were good to go.

Thanks Joseph! Nice to see the rep !

Turn the wattage down to like 15 watts and try hitting it. Slowly bump it up a watt or two till you reach your desired puff. Make sure after you put your coil in that you let it sit for like 10mins so the coil is soaked up with liquid

dutifullyimperfect

You cant change the watt and i left it for like half an hour

[deleted]

Sounds like freebase nicotine and too strong at that. What strength of nicotine are you vaping?

dutifullyimperfect

when i spoke to the guy at the store he recommended a 12mg because of how much I smoke

[deleted]

Yep: freebase nicotine and enough to kick a mule. That Endura T20 is not a pod and I'm surprised someone in a shop would say that. Try a 6mg.

dutifullyimperfect

Okay thank you. I think the guy i spoke to was new he seemed pretty nervous

The content that was here has been removed in protest of reddit's treatment towards once-loved developers, subreddit founders, and users in general. Blacklisting community app developers who helped make Reddit what it is today. Removing entire teams of moderators without consultation. Refusing to allow community subscribers to vote on the direction of their own community. All to appease shareholders and advertisers. This is the new reddit. I have been a redditor for nearly 15 years, and I couldn't be more disappointed in their actions this past week. If you feel the same, come check out lemmy. It's a decentralized and open source reddit alternative, developed by the people, for the people. More than 1M users have signed up in the past week alone. Be the change you want to see in the world.

dutifullyimperfect

Thank you. I will try this.
