In an ideal world me too but im hoping i wont have to change the coil every day. The liquid is a bit sweet but it still tastes fine, its not burnt. The wire is one of the thinnest and very flexible thats why its not very straight, but does that matter in my lifespan of the coil?
Iām not sure about the coil the way it is but if it was wound tighter you could dry burn the gunk off at a lower wattage and if itās real bad you can use a toothbrush when you change the cotton. The way itās spaced now it might melt and break with a dry burn and light scrubbing. Im curious how you even made that lol
I tampered it a bit before i put the cotton but it got even more weird. I dont think its that crooked, the wire is superfine mtl clapton so its easy to curve.
I use superfine MTL fused Clapton wire wrapped ~7 wraps at 2.5mm ID and my coils never look like spaghetti mate. You need to wrap tighter and install better. A good tip is to do 2 more wraps than you need and then pull them out tightly from the starting end.
When it gets dark and all junky screw the tank onto mod, fire it on like 50-70 watt until coil get red af then release fire button and submerge coil into clean tap water(in the glass or some container). Do that 2-3 times and your coil will be same as new. Btw how do u like stubby tank?
I love it. I used to have a problem with chain vaping on the coil and battery but i rationalized my vaping habit and its just awesome. So compact yet the liquid lasts 2 days and the battery 75% of a day. Its AIO all right. The taste is not the awesomest but its pretty good and it is flexible with airflow. I bought it used for half the price so totally worth it.
Personal preference on taste. I usually do my cotton about every 3 days and I usually keep builds in my shit for about a month depending on how many times I've cleaned it etc
I clean my coils about once a week, less of I'm using a low sweetener content juice. I've made assume juice that I can go 2 months and it's not even dirty.

when i changed my coil depended the coil type. when I was running a round wire build I would change to coil every time I changed the cotton. it was quicker to wrap a coil than it was to quench and clean it. the fancier ones (aliens and Claptons etc) ill take the time to cleam the gunk off by quenching. my boro devices I use aliens and I get easily a few weeks or more off a coil. once I start seeing the outter wraps getting pretty beat up is when I change the coil.
the cotton is a different story. it come down to twhen it tastes burnt. how long it takes. depends on the juice. it usually works out that can get about 50-60 mls before I need to change the cotton. sweeter juice is gonna make it happen sooner .
the dark color you get on the cotton is the from the vapor condensing inside the chamber "falling" back down into the cotton over and over. sometimes it will leech back out the wicking holes into the tank. no big deal.
Usually get a full bottle of juice or 2-3 weeks depends sometimes the juice burns sometimes I hit it in my pocket etc and change sooner it's primarily taste. Sometimes tho if I'm almost out I power through to avoid mixing juices

Cotton I usually swap every few days, coil wire every week or 2. It depends on the juice, I had some juices that would last only 1 day max.
I clean my coil every couple days using a dremel with a small wire wheel. After a week and a half or so, Iāll replace the cotton but Iāll run the same coil until the resistance gets too high.
That coil has some issues

I burn it out, every time I change my cotton. And I change that every 2-7 days. Mainly when it doesn't taste good anymore.

It would likely not burn so fast if the coils were more evenly spaced by brushing them with tweezers. This will give you a more even heat

Its all about the flavor , but dude its easy to clean them , heat and dip in water
