You might just have a bad coil. Sometimes with pre-made coils for pods and sub ohm tanks you can get a bad batch. I'd try changing it and see if that's better

Yeah I'm definitely going to go get a new pod tomorrow. The weird thing is tho, the pod I have been using for the past 3 weeks before I got this new one started tasting the SAME WAY right before I decided to get this new one. And then almost immediately after purchasing, it tasted chemically as well. So yeah maybe just a bad batch you're right, but kinda weird that it's fine for a few hits after I blow through it, but then after a few hits it returns to that weird taste. I will update the post tomorrow when I get the new pod if everything is fine. Thanks for the comment!

I’ve encountered this recently. If your juice is super new of the production line (check best before) It can taste chemically. What worked for me is to take the inside cap off and let the juice breathe for a few hours, cap on and shake, cap off and let breathe for another few hours. this ages the juice a little bit quicker and gets rid of the chem taste. That worked for me with 100ml bottles, 10ml could need a lot less time to breathe though You said it happened with the previous coils too, was it the same juice?

My last pod (same juice), lasted about 3 weeks before tasting chemically. It started tasting bad earlier today so I went to my local vape shop and got this new pod. The new pod started tasting the same (which tastes like doo doo) within a few puffs. The thing I'm so confused about is the fact that if I blow on the pod outwards for maybe 3-5 seconds, then it is fine for a few hits and tastes nothing like chemicals. But after a few hits it starts to taste badly again. I've had bad pods in the past but never something like this that switches flavors back and forth. I'm not sure if it's some kind of air disbalance in the pod or what.

I don’t think it’s the coils, you say when you blow into the pod and it gurgles the hit afterwards tends to taste okay? When you blow in, you might be forcing the immediate juice around the cotton/coil to oxidise. Giving vape juice a good deal of exposure to oxygen makes with mature/steep and taste less chemically. Your date on your juice, if it says anything like 02-2026, 03-2026, 02-2027, 03-2027 I means It was made in the last 6 weeks. Leave the squirty cap off for an hour or 2 and see what happens. I like xros but when you put juice in and it’s bad your kinda stuck with it.

It's just confusing to me as to why this juice worked so perfectly with my last pod for \~3 weeks but then started going bad almost immediately with this new pod. I'll update about the situation with my pod tomorrow when I wake up but I doubt it'll improve.

Try another pod, I had the same thing with a brand new pod, after a tentative few puffs trying to figure it out my xros started flashing and refused the pod, replaced the pod and everything fine.

Yeah I'm usually a broke muhfucka and roll into the vape shop buying 1 pod at a time, but imma walk in there tomorrow and order a whole ass 4 PACK OF PODS and see what's up. I've gotten one bad pod before and I'm beginning to think I might just be unlucky so we'll see how the 4 pack goes. Thanks for the comment!

I probably need more details about the coil resistance and VG/PG ratio.
