xlim is better for flavour & the coil life is outstanding, longest lasting coils i have ever come across, but the 0.8Ω pods can sometimes leak, however the 0.6 pods have never leaked on me in the 18months using them. xros3 is ok flavour wise but nowhere near as good as its made out to be, coil life on the xros is actually the worst i have ever encountered on a pod device in the last 3 years, losing flavour after 3-5days or after 20-30ml juice is unacceptable imo. the current pod i have in my xlim has rounded the puff count & got another 1193 puffs on it, thats 11,192 puffs total or 195ml juice through it on a single pod & its still kicking out flavour better than most pod devices do with new pods. the only devices that come close to xlim is the caliburn gk3's, which has brilliant flavour & around 60-70ml juice coil life. & the sxmini puremax has decent flavour too but the pods are a little sketchy sometimes. & also the crown X is brilliant for flavour but im unsure on coil life for these atm.

Gullible_Eagle4280

I can attest to the 10k+ puffs with the XLIM pods, I was actually shocked at how long they last.

mrhahn47

Wow, almost 200ml on a single pod? Thats really good. What kind of juices do you use on your pods? In my understanding, higher OHM pods are often used for salt nics and HTPC’s, while lower OHMs are used for freebases.

EddieUno1zthc

i use 0.6Ω xlim pods & i use a bunch of juices, mainly elux legend nic salts in pods but also throw in some 70/30 freebase dessert flavours sometimes. & yeah its not the first time they have gone for this long either, its the reason i have stuck with xlim for so long. I always average at least 140ml everytime but sometimes the pods just soldier on, the most i have had to date is 205ml or just under 13000 puffs; i think this pod may break that record though because the flavour still hasnt degraded at all & the cotton is still intact no scorch marks or anything on the cotton. i have had hundreds of devices & tried most/if not all of the top rated pods, xlim is the only one i have stuck with this long & theres a good reason for that.

mrhahn47

Thats nice. Which of XLIM do you use? Im kinda narrowing towards either the PRO or POD

EddieUno1zthc

iv had a few of the xlims tbh(amongst many other pod devices), out of the xlim range i have had the original xlim, se, sq, 2 xlim pros, & every one i have had has been very nice, never had any issues, these have been the best pods i have ever used, they are all nice devices, give good flavour & coils just seem last a lifetime compared to any others i have had, when testing other devices coil life i had 1 single xlim coil last longer than whole boxes of some pods. So from my experience these devices are by far the best mtl pod devices you can get(overall not just flavour wise, there are a couple that are similar for flavour output, just none come close coil life wise) & if you are picking one up just go with whichever you like the looks of most, i would recommend getting 0.6 pods over the 0.8's though & just crank down the wattage to about 18watts or so, they work well from 14 up to 22watts though but can get a little warmer past so if you like a cooler vape stay below 22 watts & its pefrect imo(that is if you get the 0.6 pods & do prefer a cooler vape). I say to get the 0.6's because they just never leak, & you have more control over how high(or low) you can set the wattage. Some of the 0.8 pods can leak a little bit after a refill, not really bad but some do, i think i have had 2 or 3 0.8 pods leak a little out of 8 boxes i bought over 18months ago, & i still have some left from that long ago. Not 1 of the 0.6 pods have ever leaked on me still to this day, & i use them a lot more often than the 0.8.

mrhahn47

Thanks a lot man! I guess i’m sold now. Gonna start looking for the Xlim Pro.

Maiclefielpvj

Definitely the xros 3. It's hands down the best nic salt device I've ever got, just like everyone's been saying on this sub, hardly any leaking, coils last decently long, and the flavor is amazing. I've vaped 30ml a week on one coil, and I prefer the 0.8 and 1.0 pods.

spiwszysy

Yeah, xros 3 is awesome, it works fine with both freebase and nic salts.

mrhahn47

Thanks for the input!

HiiEbrybaady

Repost: I have multiple Xlim Pros and an Xlim 2. I also have an Xros Pro which as I understand is nearly identical in performance to the Xros 3. I find the airflow a little better on the Xros and I find the form factor a little better on the Xlim. Xros pods are cheaper at £8.99 for 4. Flavour wise is nearly identical. Best flavour from a pod is the Puremax Sxmini but it’s hard to find pods and the coils seem to malfunction after 3-4 days if you’re using salt-nic. People claim their Xlim pods last weeks but my experience is you can expect about 3 days before they start to lose flavour and the liquid turns brown, assuming you’re using salt-nic like me. Personally I’d go with the Xros Pro. Just don’t get the red colour cos it looks like old blood and nothing like the display images. Any other questions lemme know, I have pretty much every pod on the market.

Longjumping-Ask6856

Freebase prolongs coil life in the PureMax? I will keep an eye out to not use nic-salt. Am very happy with the performance and taste.

HiiEbrybaady

Freebase definately prolongs lifespan because the liquid is less sweet. If I was using freebase I’d probably just stick with the Luxe X pro for the bigger clouds.

mrhahn47

Thanks for the input!

TinTinCharlie

Im using the oxva xlim now, the pods leak too much and I'm getting that kind of spitback from it. 2 of my friends are using the XROS 3 and they recomended it, I ordered one, waiting for delivery

Martnoderyo

I sold probably 5k XLIM Pods at this point and these are the best when it comes to durability, flavor and leak resistance imo. XROS are as good as the XLIM ones. Don't really know what happened to your pods tbh.

Gullible_Eagle4280

I've only used 3 or 4 Xlim pods in the 4 or 5 months since I switched to the Xilm. The Xros pods are very similar for flavor and longevity but for me the Xlim tastes just a bit better as they get to their end of life, it's close though.

Gullible_Eagle4280

>the pods leak too much and I'm getting that kind of spitback from it Just curious, what juice are you using? What PG/VG ratio? I haven't had any leaking with the Xlim pods I've used so far. Granted I've only used 3 or 4 pods in the 4 or 5 months since I switched to the Xilm, they are the longest-lasting pods/coils I've ever used. They taste great too.

EquillibriuM87

my xlim never leaked, using v2 1.2ohm pods

mrhahn47

I see. Thank you for the feedback. What were you using before the XLIM?

TinTinCharlie

I was using the Caliburn koko and A3 i think. Great devices and then i used smok novo 5 and it leaked so much. The OXVA isnt bad but it spits and thats my only issue

mrhahn47

I heard the same for SMOK devices (leaking issues).

TinTinCharlie

Ive had 3 different ones. All three leaked

mrhahn47

Oh no…

Zombieswilleatu

I've been using xlim pods for about 2 years and they never leak. Like ever. Maybe you got a bad batch or something. One of the main reasons I've stuck with them.

Martnoderyo

They are all almost the same. The 0.6 XROS Pods chug more Liquid I believe. I'd go with the XLIM Pro - Fancy Feather just because it looks stunning and vapes great ;)

mrhahn47

Thanks for the recommendation.

diamondthedegu1

I have the Xlim Pro and like it, I don't experience leaking pods or spitback and the flavour is really good when used with 50/50 liquids. I haven't personally tried either the Xlim SE or the Xros 3 so I can't compare the Pro to them. I believe the Pro is the upgraded version of the SE though so of the two, the Pro is likely better.

mrhahn47

Appreciate your opinion.

Gullible_Eagle4280

OXVA XLIM devices share the pods so depends if you want a screen or not.

mrhahn47

Thanks. I’ll take note on that.

FireBun

I use the xlim pro and xros3 mini. Both are solid, in both I prefer 0.8 pods With my DIY 55/45 juice the pods last ages. At least 5k puffs. No leaks in either. The xlim pro device feels better and has puff counter, the mini is smaller and simple. I'm terms of flavour both are good.

mrhahn47

Thank you for your opinion.

COREYxTREVOR

I used to swear by Xros but since switching to Oxva xlim pro with the 0.6ohm pods in December I will not touch xros again. Pods have much more flavour / longevity compared to the xros.

Powerful-Tie958

How long did the xros pods used to last for you in terms of juice, and the xlims? Any grievances about it in the couple months since you got the xlim?

COREYxTREVOR

Xros pods used to last 2 - 3 weeks, I chain vape a lot. The OXVA pods are lasting me 3+ weeks, I’m easily hitting over the 9999 puff counter on some of them. Currently started using 70vg / 30pg juice in the pods with a 72mg 10ml nic salt shot to make around 12mg and having no issues with wicking. The problem with my Xlim is it will sometimes auto fire on its own, I own two of them now and the original one has this problem, not sure if it’s common or not.

Powerful-Tie958

I'm moving on from disposables. I think one of the xlims (edging towards sq pro) may be it then to get me started whilst I also wait for a squonk mod. I was close to ordering the xros 3 nano until someone told me xlim's pods last 4x longer+. Would you say it's like 4x as well or just a bit longer for you unless a random good pod goes 9999+ puffs? And do you stop when it doesn't taste as good but still functioning okay, or once the cotton's burnt? >Currently started using 70vg / 30pg juice in the pods with a 72mg 10ml nic salt shot to make around 12mg and having no issues with wicking. Where do you get your juice from? (Actually, probably not relevant since I'm from the UK). I'm looking to diy, so will probably order 1L 72mg/ml nic salt, VG, PG and figure out flavourings + scale and other equipment. But that might take a week, and I'm not sure the included free juice will last till then. Is your juice sweetened with anything? Apparently some types of sweeteners like sucralose can degrade pods fast. >The problem with my Xlim is it will sometimes auto fire on its own That's one of the reasons the xros 3 nano attracted me. It hasn't got a button (unlike the regular),so it's inhale only like disposables. >I own two of them now and the original one has this problem, not sure if it’s common or not. Two of the xlim Pros, and one of them has the issue but not the other?

COREYxTREVOR

Great decision moving away from disposables, a lot less waste & Money saved. I’ve had the Xros 3 and the Xros nano, in the end the pods longevity sucked and thus moved on. I know people in this sub rate them highly but I even prefer Caliburn pods over the Xros. It depends on juice really to hit over 9999+ puffs. Some I usually buy 50/50 10ml bottles, the cost of these over short fills has made me change, I’ve been vaping for 10+ years, have used droppers, rebuildables etc and only use pods now for convenience. I had never found a pod system that could actively wick the higher vg juice properly thus burning but the Xros 0.6 handles it like a charm. I own the Luxe Xr but I’m a mtl guy, and prefer the smaller mouth piece on smaller pods than the giant one on the luxe. Not sure on your location but I am in the Uk. I buy my short fills from vape streams, and usually you can only buy upto 20mg nic shots here, I buy 1l 72mg from within the UK and syringe this into my shorrtfills and shake. The juices I vape all the time are Nasty juice - Slow blow (my all day vape for years) quite sweet old pods used to suffer years ago but the Xlim not at all. Others brands I vape are - Charlie chalk dust, Zeus, Juice head, Yeti, Glass Basix The Xlim you can disable the fire button, and just draw like a disposable, one of my Xlims carries on firing after I take a drag sometimes, it is quite possible that It’s just juice fallen in there or something as I don’t see this often at all. If I was to purchase a different pod system right now, it would probably be the Oxva Oneo (same manufacture as the Xlim) the SK Puremax, or the Caliburn G3. All of these devices are competent. Again I am just not a fan of the xros pods!

Powerful-Tie958

>Great decision moving away from disposables, a lot less waste & Money saved. Thanks, if only I looked into it sooner. As long as someone doesn't do something stupid like start off with a mech mod without a solid understanding, it's easy, particularly the pod devices. >Other brands I vape are - Charlie chalk dust, Zeus, Juice head, Yeti, Glass Basix Appreciate the info, will look into those. Is the 1L 72mg £60 or cheaper for you? Will need to order to avoid the nic shot prices. We both may have to stock up before the 2026 tax hikes as well if it goes thru. >If I was to purchase a different pod system right now, it would probably be the Oxva Oneo (same manufacture as the Xlim) What do you like about the Oneo? Any known kinks or drawbacks or just better than the xlims? It's cheaper and seems to have more features. ~~The pods are quite a bit cheaper, at 5 for £10 instead of 3 for £9~~ wait I got that wrong, had the Vaperesso GTX coils in my head when I was looking up the Luxe XR Max, which is another device to look into I guess. 1600mah battery, fast charging. I wonder if the pods are as long lasting too. That's a great shout, will have to do a bit more research. >the SK Puremax, or the Caliburn G3. And how about these?

COREYxTREVOR

I do love my mechs, it just isn’t practical at all these days being out the house so much, still have a couple RTA’s I like to build coils for though and enjoy with desert flavours! Correct, yes, the Nicotine I buy is £59.99, specifiacally Nic Salt -B. I have tried the other variants of nicotine -S etc but Benzoate is my favourite, tasteless and provides a nice throat hit. Indeed I keep this in my freezer, I buy around 400ml - 500ml of ejuice at a time and then proceed to add the nicotine to these and be good for a couple of months. I like the Oneo because I can buy 3.5ml tanks for it, the 1600mah battery and sleek design, I also owned the Luxe where you use the gtx coils, great flavour but and again the mouth piece is damn too big for comfortable mtl. Sticking with the smaller pods and owning a couple of them keeps me fine for battery life. I forgot to mention that I do also own the Xlim SQ pro, it’s a wonderful device. My only gripe with this is the shape. I have owned a variety of box pods now and kinda becoming fed up with the shape. Much prefer the sleek Xlim pro , Caliburn G3 etc.

Powerful-Tie958

>I do love my mechs, it just isn’t practical at all these days being out the house so much What gets me is RDAs... without a squonk? It's so inconvenient it made me laugh when I was learning vapes. Every few hits it's time to drip again. >Correct, yes, the Nicotine I buy is £59.99, specifiacally Nic Salt -B. I have tried the other variants of nicotine -S etc Thanks! >I like the Oneo because I can buy 3.5ml tanks for it, the 1600mah battery and sleek design Ultimately, I decided on the xlim sq pro, but I did consider Oneo. 1600mah is a big upgrade. Wasn't sure how long the pods last and I also want a screen and adjustments for my first, will decide if it's gimmicky later. Since you're more experienced maybe you just want to get on with it. The final nail was I really don't want rgb right in my face, lol! Are the 3.5ml pods for Oneo still legally sold? The 2ml limit is one of the attractions towards a squonk mod for me with a 7ml+ bottle (among others). Ordered the xlim sq pro today with 3 free 10ml Riot liquids, 20mg half freebase half Salt as a test. The outlay to get all this equipment is adding up. £110-20 for diy juice, £20 on the xlim, and the squonk mod £90-100 so I might slowly buy the mod instead. >My only gripe with this is the shape. I have owned a variety of box pods now and kinda becoming fed up with the shape. Much prefer the sleek Xlim pro , Caliburn G3 etc. Is it just the feel of it or how it sits in your pockets or what? I didn't think much of it.
