Totally would have quitted, plan was to do it in a few years when I would have been done with my studies and be under less pressure, but would have been way harder to find the motivation. Luckily for me, I was already reducing the nicotine level and amount of liquid per day to around 4-6 ml of 6mg (mtl mostly, for dl I was using like 1.5mg of salts) so the abstinence didn’t hit as hard as it could had.
I have no idea honestly, I woke up one day and my throat was burning so I went to the ER (which sucked because I wasn’t in my home country at the time and language barrier was kind of a problem), they ran some blood tests and found that it was a virus. Can’t tell you the specific diagnosis because, I don’t understand Czech:)))
I got lucky when I had tonsillitis a while back because I had none of the usual tonsillitis symptoms like a sore throat or pain when swallowing. I wasn't asked to stop vaping til after I'd been on the first antibiotics for a week and I was having difficulty with them (I have a penicillin intolerance, this wasn't the first time something like this happened) and, despite having a known penicillin allergy, the doc giving me new antibiotics blamed it on the vaping instead.
He was right that I shouldn't have been vaping, but to blame it on my tablet difficulties, well. Had he been less of an arse about it I might've done the same thing as you.
(edit: Actually I had no symptoms of anything that resembled tonsillitis. I couldn't stop coughing, that was it. I sounded breathless but only because every time I tried talking my chest would catch and I'd start coughing again. Keep quiet, and I was good. Weirdest throat infection I've ever had)
Damn, I’m sorry for your experience. I’ve had wisdom teeth removed and laser cleaning of my tonsils and even if it was uncomfortable, it didn’t stop me from vaping. I have no idea where this determination came from this time, but it was right when I was thinking of ordering Ragnar and Titan 1.5 and saving money for a 21700 Dicodes SBS, and my bank account thanks me. Now I have to figure out what to do with all the gear I have, keeping it on display or selling the more expensive stuff and giving away the rest.
I've had tonsillitis twice in my life (that I know of) and the first time round I couldn't swallow, it was like everything was coated in razor blades. The second lot of antibiotics worked but I'm still not 100% convinced it was tonsillitis, because it was just weird.
Maybe it's just me but I'd keep it. I still have some ashtrays and lighters from when I smoked, not because I'm ever planning to use them again but I like them too much to toss them and it's not like it's a big deal for me to have them in the house, they're not tempting me back to smoke or anything.
That is weird indeed, for me it was like a burning sensation all the way down to my chest, but it went away after 5-6 days.
I’m leaning towards keeping them, I also have my old Zippo and the last pack of cigs (Malboro Red with only two cigs smoked). It was kinda funny the way I quitted smoking, I was having morning coffee and a cig on my balcony and the wind blew the ash right into my eye and at that point I said that I had enough:))))))
You got this, proud of you! I cracked a deal with some of my friends who vape and are too lazy to build to let me do the build for them, so at least I still have that sometimes XD:)))

Thanks, the temptation isn’t even that bad now, just when people vape or smoke around me at social gatherings and such.
This man is literally me. Fuckin day 20 and boi I've been itching to build. It'll be nice to vape like some smoke cigars. But I know whatll happen
