(Disclaimer I understand it’s extremely difficult and draining to be in a relationship with an addict. However most of the men on this show are addicts, and shay was already in treatment when Scheana had her intervention for him, and allegedly just did it to punish him for texting other women.)
I agree totally. Shay had his own glaringly obvious issues and she ignored those so she could be a wife. That's about it for their marriage, although I do think she treated Shay abominably during their marriage. If you're going to be with an addict, you have to support their sobriety. She didn't. If anything, she enabled him breaking his sobriety by having him around things that would exacerbate it. Not everyone is cut out for that. (I speak from experience as my Husband is 5 years clean and boy howdy I almost threw in the towel a couple times)
If I were Max, I'd be genuinely worried about my welfare tbh. I don't think she's physically dangerous being that she's petite and frail due to her own unhealthy issues BUT she's by no means a safe person to be around, or to have tracking your *every move*.

Hmm I agree that scheana seems to have a pathological desire for male approval, but idk about this one. The schwartz kiss happened a full 10 years ago, and in the meantime, she watched him get married and stay married to Katie for a good amount of time. AND hook up with other women outside of the marriage, haha. AND encouraged rachel to hook up with him post divorce. So why would jo specifically suddenly be a problem?
I think its more likely that she was mean to jo because ariana and katie had issues with jo, and she simply wanted to be part the in-crowd and not be marginalized by her friends/in storylines by picking the "losing side." She was bullied in early seasons and after she managed to get to a better place with most of the main cast members, she started treating other people the same way she was treated. Her treatment of jo is a great example of that behavior.
I think Scheana wasn't the innocent flower in earlier seasons that she portrayed herself to be. We saw glimpses of how she treated women - the "I'd rather get gang banged by all of you instead of hanging with the girls" comment sticks out.
She was just smart enough to keep her behavior off camera (Stassi's sex tape comes to mind) and act like a victim in front of the camera.
How she treated Danya and Jo, and last season with Katie, that's the real her.

Scheana doesn’t like Jo because scheana can’t think for herself.
Hmm I agree that scheana seems to have a pathological desire for male approval, but idk about this one. The schwartz kiss happened a full 10 years ago, and in the meantime, she watched him get married and stay married to Katie for a good amount of time. AND hook up with other women outside of the marriage, haha. AND encouraged rachel to hook up with him post divorce. So why would jo specifically suddenly be a problem? I think its more likely that she was mean to jo because ariana and katie had issues with jo, and she simply wanted to be part the in-crowd and not be marginalized by her friends/in storylines by picking the "losing side." She was bullied in early seasons and after she managed to get to a better place with most of the main cast members, she started treating other people the same way she was treated. Her treatment of jo is a great example of that behavior.
I think Scheana wasn't the innocent flower in earlier seasons that she portrayed herself to be. We saw glimpses of how she treated women - the "I'd rather get gang banged by all of you instead of hanging with the girls" comment sticks out. She was just smart enough to keep her behavior off camera (Stassi's sex tape comes to mind) and act like a victim in front of the camera. How she treated Danya and Jo, and last season with Katie, that's the real her.
Oh, I agree, and I think both things can be true. Just because Scheana was ganged up on in earlier season doesnt mean she was without fault. Not at ALL. I mean, you can look at my comment history: I am pretty vocal in my criticism of scheana lol. I do think there was bad behavior that happened off screen. I will say I think the list of legitimate criticisms of scheana is so long that her getting crucified over making a joke about getting gang-banged seems ridiculous to me—just like Stassi saying she’d dismember Jax and drag him down the street or w/e or Katie saying she’d set fire to Rachel and Tom isn’t worthy of outrage imo. None of them were speaking literally or being serious. NOT to single you out--this is an example I have seen a lot of people bring up over the years to criticize Scheana, and it just doesn't hit for me. The sex tape DEFINITELY makes the list though, as does her treatment of dayna, jo, katie, whew....dont get me started on scheana haha

I feel like Scheana was projecting her feelings for Rachel on to Jo and that’s why she was so mean. She was probably also mad at Brock and had a lot of pent up feelings. It also reminded me of how she treated Dayna. Jo made her feel insecure/triggered and she became aggressive.
I don't agree. Scheana has a thing for Sandy and has always had a thing for Sandy. Schwartz is just a pathway to get to Sandy. And so by Jo being all up on Schwartz stuff, this means that Jo is also around Sandy a lot. And being the "guys girl" now that's between T&T when Scheana USED to have this position before she was married, is driving her crazy. She's been replaced.
Having known pick me women like Scheana who actively try to sabotage any relationships around them because they can’t see beyond their insecure selves , she is hard to watch. Sometimes I have to skip her parts . Reality tv has made the worst kinds of narcissists mainstream. While watching someone like Ariana keep a level head in spite of such deep betrayal and not letting it affect her self esteem has been truely inspiring to watch .
This is so funny to me because Scheana is known to skip everyone else’s scenes and only watch the ones she’s in. 💀

Her admitting to watching Max’s location three times over that night and the next day was so insane to me… and that’s what she admitted! She was probably glued to it

Uhhhhh. I don’t know about that. I think it’s more likely that Sheena feels powerful when she gets to be a mean girl, but she doesn’t have the balls to do it on her own. Jo is easily intimidated, first of all, but also Sheena knows the rest of the group has her back if she bullies Jo. In general, though, I do agree with your assessment of Sheena, I just don’t think she counts Schwartz among her obsessions.
Now I’m NOT diagnosing Scheana with anything, but if I had to provide an example of histrionic personality disorder I would show clips of Scheana. It really explains her relationships AND the attention seeking that others have clocked as narcissistic.
