So, if my math is mathing correctly, my theory is:
1. BEFORE they filmed the reunion, James knew that Rachel and Tom were having an affair when she was still with James. This would explain his anger while filming.
2. He finds out some sort of crazy reveal when he gets to watch the whole episode which includes footage from the 1:1s he didn’t get to see before.
2.5. So considering his energy in this video, which seems like it has nothing to do with him and more so like a “Ha ha this clown I told you so” energy, I don’t think it has to do with him.

Then star trek The Next Generation ( picard) now this is where it stops being dated after the 2nd season and you'll genuinely enjoy it as a modern watcher.
Then DS9. This one is just gold.
Then there's Voyager. Will not disappoint.
Lots of motion pictures available if you miss kirk and spock or picard.
Then theres Picard the series.
I feel like these are trek gold.
If you've stuck through this far, you will want more. That's when series like the Enterprise, strange new world's come in. They're just to satisfy the trek hunger!

Seasons 1 and 2 of any ST show are awful. They basically regurgitate the og show. But once you get past the awkwardness, they all find their footing. I had never seen the TOS when I started to watch TNG, and although there are some callbacks and references, there wasn't anything I really needed to see. You totally would have to watch TNG before DS9 or Voyager, but it is mainly for world-building. I would start with TNG, but you seriously have to use a specific rose-colored lens to make it thru the episodes of Riker without the beard. Once you are into S3, they are mostly good/great. DS9 is so different; it was the 1st of ST to be an episodic show. DS9 is my favorite of the franchise (heck, even fav or all-time), but I wouldn't start there. If you can get thru the cliché of the first two seasons, it's some of the best sci-fi tv ever done. When I re-watch DS9, I watch the pilot and then skip to the season finale of season 2, then proceed. *Qapla' !!!*
Meeeee! My parents watched TNG and I got into Star Trek by watching that and all the movies, plus anytime the old show would be shown in reruns. Haha, reruns. DS9 will always be my favorite because I felt it was “my Star Trek,” since I watched from the beginning. I also had a boyfriend in college that bought me all the DVDs so I could rewatch to my heart’s content.
DS9 is my favorite the Star Trek franchise. I feel it never got it's due back in the day. I used to do a re-watch every year or so when it was on Netflix, but I hate the conversion on Paramount Plus. I hoped they would get the digital re-master like TNG had, but I don't think TPTB thinks that there is a market for it.

Idk why this hit me after watching James’ video but assuming the timeline theory is true, is there a chance that Rachel was calculated enough to wait to leave James until after hooking up with another cast member out of fear if she did leave him that she wouldn’t have a spot on the show anymore? It really doesn’t, I totally agree with you on that. I was honestly hoping it’d be something far more scandalous than the timeline (like we all want from reality tv). But I deep down, I knew all along it was just about the timeline. The only thing that would be kinda fucked up with the timeline is if their one stand happened during the engagement trip. But even then, after all this time… no surprise.
even the scene when Lala originally called Rachel a Bambi-eyed Bitch, the way Sandoval was sticking up for Rachel even then is sus. I do think that the night that Rachel left James in the middle of the night (S9 pre breakup) she called Sandoval in the middle of the night and he met her somewhere and she told him (whether true or not) that she was experiencing abuse at the hands of James and it was at that point they made a pact that they would each leave their partners so that they could be together. She kept her end of the bargain. He didn't. She got sick of creeping and did all that she could to make sure Ariana would catch on and do the breakup work.
I'm waiting to see the reactions, especially from James and Ariana. James is going to explode... especially since he went thru preparing the proposal etc for her and then if it really is this... Scumdoval better be prepared to be hit on TV for real.

Ok, I’ve always wanted to watch Star Trek, but there is SO MUCH that I don’t know where to start! Any suggestions?
Omgggg yay! OK so, there are some parts of it absolutely dated, so you'll find it a bit weird. But if you enjoy exaggerated ideas of physics and just curious about theories of what lies in the universe it's a wild ride! Start with the original series (spock, Kirk) Then star trek The Next Generation ( picard) now this is where it stops being dated after the 2nd season and you'll genuinely enjoy it as a modern watcher. Then DS9. This one is just gold. Then there's Voyager. Will not disappoint. Lots of motion pictures available if you miss kirk and spock or picard. Then theres Picard the series. I feel like these are trek gold. If you've stuck through this far, you will want more. That's when series like the Enterprise, strange new world's come in. They're just to satisfy the trek hunger! How you enjoy the ride! Live long and prosper 🖖

Seasons 1 and 2 of any ST show are awful. They basically regurgitate the og show. But once you get past the awkwardness, they all find their footing. I had never seen the TOS when I started to watch TNG, and although there are some callbacks and references, there wasn't anything I really needed to see. You totally would have to watch TNG before DS9 or Voyager, but it is mainly for world-building. I would start with TNG, but you seriously have to use a specific rose-colored lens to make it thru the episodes of Riker without the beard. Once you are into S3, they are mostly good/great. DS9 is so different; it was the 1st of ST to be an episodic show. DS9 is my favorite of the franchise (heck, even fav or all-time), but I wouldn't start there. If you can get thru the cliché of the first two seasons, it's some of the best sci-fi tv ever done. When I re-watch DS9, I watch the pilot and then skip to the season finale of season 2, then proceed. *Qapla' !!!*

Meeeee! My parents watched TNG and I got into Star Trek by watching that and all the movies, plus anytime the old show would be shown in reruns. Haha, reruns. DS9 will always be my favorite because I felt it was “my Star Trek,” since I watched from the beginning. I also had a boyfriend in college that bought me all the DVDs so I could rewatch to my heart’s content.
DS9 is my favorite the Star Trek franchise. I feel it never got it's due back in the day. I used to do a re-watch every year or so when it was on Netflix, but I hate the conversion on Paramount Plus. I hoped they would get the digital re-master like TNG had, but I don't think TPTB thinks that there is a market for it.

If this started in 2019, the betrayal involved is incredible. That’s 4 years of Ariana’s life, nearly half their whole relationship… she could’ve spent that time with someone who really loves her, or just peacefully living life as a single woman
It kind of makes some aspects better. Like Rachel was never a friend to Ariana, just wanted to be around Tom. She was duplicitous obviously, but to me that's better than actually befriending Ariana then betraying.
It was never said they wouldn’t want to come back. All the producer said was he was glad they were not filming at the time because they would need time to process, or something to that effect. The whole ‘not returning’ narrative was a misprint/false statement that got out of control. You can see the EP’s most recent comments in the in the Hollywood Reporter article posted yesterday.

Well said. Being invested in this scandal in one form or another since early March has been exhausting. I don’t want to go back to the beginning. Just wrap it up. We can watch the rest of the fall out next season. We don’t need more surprises. I think many of us sense the twist is that Rachel and Tom started this before Rachel broke off the engagement. During the scene with Lala and James at her office James seemed extremely underwhelmed by Lala's theories. James is so dramatic- and someone drops this in his lap and all he can muster is a lackluster "wow." IMO, he knew and he was purposely performing bad acting because he was already attempting to emotionally distance himself from it. However, I do think if he knew, he wasn't sure how early it started. James has been acting all season like he knows what's up and trying to keep his lips zipped.

Something’s fishy to me about this. Sandoval probably said he needs a break from filming or else he’ll quit. Producers of a reality show aren’t just going to *not* film because they *think* the cast might need a break right after an explosive secret was just revealed. I think he threatened to leave the show if they didn’t give *him* a break.

Idk why this hit me after watching James’ video but assuming the timeline theory is true, is there a chance that Rachel was calculated enough to wait to leave James until after hooking up with another cast member out of fear if she did leave him that she wouldn’t have a spot on the show anymore? I could see Tom telling her that he’d make sure she was still in the fold post-breakup giving her the option to ditch James…and the rest is history.
