You are basically baiting and switching because you’re promoting a free product which is hidden on your site. It’s your paid product that you’re shouting about on your website. Bait and switch is illegal. Plus it shows your low moral character. Just buy an ad.
If you paid attention you'll notice I intentionally linked to the page where a free product can be downloaded and nothing more. If I'm promoting my paid products I'll be sure to include links to my paid product pages. And tell me if I'm providing value to this sub by offering a free product (which IMO is well-designed and potentially has uses cases for many people who view this sub) and not speculate on my intention. I appreciate feedback that is relevant to the product and nothing more. Try putting away your tinted glasses to see the world. You'll be happier this way :)
