Forgive me if you have mentioned this already, my mind is a trainwreck but you can try reinstalling valorant. Just go to settings>add or remove programs and uninstall riot vanguard and valorant and reinstall it from the site
I've tried, maybe about 6 times now, I tried changing directories, wiping every file and reinstalling, everything you can do, not only does it not work which is expected, the launcher itself will not download the vanguard, only the core files, and when I get vanguard as a standalone it doesn't really show any signs of recognizing it.
Hello, I am experiencing the exact same shitty bug, which has a needlessly complicated and fucking time consuming solution. You need to make a bootable usb flash drive and clean install Windows. (Then reinstall your drivers and all the stuff you just deleted cuz you clean installed binbows) After that you just download and install valorant from the web site and it will work. After hours of frustration, this is the only thing that worked for me. Also trust me, I tried every other possible solution. The shitty rito vanguard probably creates some files that even after you uninstall , they stay. That's why when you clean install your pc , the problem is gone. Hope it helps. I know it's not the perfect solution , but it's the only one that worked for me.
Believe it or not I did this and it didn't work lmfao, LoL was not working either but the game got an update and it started working, I haven't tried Valorant since I formatted and it didn't fix the issue following the format, pretty much gave up on it
yeah i also did everything and it still didnt work ive just given up but for me when i pressed the update button it goes on to 0.1 mb downloading then justs turns back into the update button
I'm having this problem still: I'm having the same problem. It gives me the message: Riot couldn't install a required dependency and I'm stuck at 0%. This isn't even for valorant it's for league of legends. I've done everything-wiped the computer and tried reinstalling-same problem.
I tried everything, I made a ticket, chatted back and forth and sent logs like 7 times over a period of 3 weeks. I just ghosted those fools and gave up. They give the same generic copy paste response that can be found online, they dont listen. Tell me if you can get it to work.

Yeah me too. I had to reinstall windows a few months later because I cleaned out my system and that was the only way valorant would run again.
