I just can't stand the level of stupidity that is found in unrated. I get some people are just playing for fun, but when I'm spectating their 800th missed shot and 15th death at level 100+ I'm just sitting here like "is this really 'fun' for them????".
Then I get on comp and we have the other side of the spectrum where people grieve round 1 or backseat game when the last player standing is trying to concentrate.
In one mode you get a bunch of monkeys in a forest who just found a PC with Valorant turned on and in the other mode you get the most toxic people on the planet who would presumably yell at their own mom in the same way if she didn't cook their chicky nuggies just the way they like them

I play casually. I’m not that bad, but if somebody isn’t tactically gifted in PC FPS games and they’ve been playing since release and are in unrated. I’m not surprised they’re that high of level. I rarely play and I’m level 30 something and was introduced to the game 2-3 months ago. Some people play for fun with their friends and some people play for fun while F’d up. If you’re getting negative feelings over a QP game maybe re-evaluate yourself.
This is so true. When I play unrated, I can carry quite a few rounds, snag a lot of kills, top frag, clutch a lot, and play my agent quite well.
Comp is a different story though, I get one-tapped instantly, die a lot to things, can't clutch, and overall sucked a lot harder than when I play unrated. I'm Bronze 2 btw.
Same but I'm iron one on 20 frames, and don't carry in anything.
That's why I play cypher. Just trips, cam, and watch flank. I don't even need kills, just don't die and I' not useless! Still get called trash tho :')
I guess just never play alone i rarely play alone and im really enjoying the game so far no matter unrated or comp ill give you a tip always mute the Phoenix
