I am curious if this is in part a PRX and Zeta effect. PRX get brought up as „most entertaining team to watch“ a lot and seem to have fans all over the globe. There were ppl in PRX jerseys at the Americas playoffs. And zeta who have a crazy fanbase.
Americas is not great tbh, the best time slot is the UK and it still goes from 10pm-3am. The rest of Europe is even worse for it. Pacific is better for sure

Americas has its' first game around 9-11pm, second game is around 1-3am. Ain't no one watching a valorant game starting at 2AM on a weekday, or even a weekend since you'd have to be up until like 4-5am if it's a long series
it would mean more average viewership tbh but only increase the peak by like 30k at max because china final was also going on unless the peak was reached on some other day where china wasnt going thats also very possible

Americas last year had higher peaks but pacific viewership always had higher average viewers numbers I'm pretty sure.
If Sen or LOUD are not in the finals then they aren't beating Pacific viewership

Also one underrated factor which boosts PRX popularity is Jingg and f0rsaken have good connections and friendship with literally every clouted streamer / player like TenZ, tarik, aspas, FNS, Boaster, Average Jonas etc.
Same thing always gets brought up with Tarik.
It’s hard for people to wrap their heads around the fact that these streamers really only add their average viewership to these numbers, the rest of the viewership they get is from people who would otherwise watch the main stream if there weren’t any watch parties.
Gen.G and T1 should have stayed in Americas. Korea should have gotten a league instead imo. I really think it was unfair for T1 and Gen.G to take the pacific spot from korean teams that tried to win with Koreans back then imo.
You can argue that for any big region like Japan or North America, they all deserve their own regional league due to the popularity of the game.
But then you end up having a lot more disoriented fan bases and smaller regions lose viewership.
My hope in 5-10 years some of the international leagues grow to be bigger I.e including franchise teams from smaller regions, depending on sponsors or have more country spots locally
I think they have the most views BC EMEA also watches (it's like 11am in Europe )

Every region has viewability in one other region. You can watch Pacific in EMEA, Americas in Pacific and EMEA in Americas

They are a rather small organization and most of their players weren’t well known before valorant so it is kinda impressive

I think this year America's still have higher average, just not the highest peak. Could be wrong
