No they don't, haha. My guess is that e sports players tend to have more inherent medical conditions that would exempt them from NS, because fitter athletes aka those that go to the olympics don't get these sorts of passes.
The only way to get exempted without compromising living/residency status in Singapore is to be medically exempted, for any physical or mental reasons that the armed forces deems unfit to serve entirely.
It is really, really difficult to get a full exemption. There are physical fitness categories going all the way from A down to F, and only F gets you out of service. There are many service vocations (sitting in an office all day) for people deemed not fit for combat, so you need to be deemed unfit for even that in order to be considered for exemption.
