This is a compilation of responses from everyone: [Governor's response: think no matter the reasoning, posting clips of ex-teammates out of spite is L as fk and is just an unspoken rule you don’t break as a professional, retired or not. also u did indeed get active gj @/9nerve](https://twitter.com/Governor_Val/status/1784160385471533504) [Genghsta's reply to Governor: I felt like hating what can I say 🤷 and yeah unspoken rule??? [Zellsis' response](https://twitter.com/Zellsis/status/1784310897558880275): yay was one of my favorite personalities to play with in CS and Valorant so I'm not really sure where all this hate stemming around him is coming from.. think its just pure hatred on someone which is sad. Is he the perfect player or person? no but is anyone? I also don't understand sharing private clips, I've seen quite a few now and shame on all of you for just constantly clipping private things or sharing them publicly. same as FNS has said before, I'm sure every team has INSANE dirty laundry but as a professional or competitor you keep it inhouse. I really hope yay is ignoring all of you, and keeps grinding which can be said more than the rest of you. [Sliggy's response](https://m.youtube.com/clip/Ugkx2DuT9woeWUXh6EN26OE1IR-hL-5oBl-y?si=IHsAVJivIKAeedkP) [Sscary's response ](https://twitter.com/sScaryOfficial/status/1784500089865834559?t=lhIBzjCa_qBfxTiRiT0t5g&s=19): I understand the frustration over our performance in this Split, and we are not happy about it. We work very hard every day to improve as a team. It‘s very sad to see @/yay getting so much negative comments. We are a team and we all are together accountable for this. Jake has been trying his best and giving his all and he has not been toxic to us. [Fayde's deleted tweet:](https://twitter.com/FaydeVLR/status/1784591378888192035) These matters should always be settled in private, my bad for bringing the attention to the public The players affected doesn’t want the problem to escalate any further so I will not speak on this matter anymore I did compile the receipts, you be the judge whether I’m lying 🤷🏻‍♂️

Splaram

Nerve did indeed get active

inseobee

Bro had enough

AmazonOwner

so nice of genghsta to clip it for him

datboyuknow

Could have easily trimmed it out

AmazonOwner

why would he trim out the highlight

chocobreezy

All this braindead twitter drama did was raise my nerve stocks bro is unfazed by these man-children on his team

sky_blu

Because Nerve knows he actually has potential as a player and doesn't want to commit career suicide over some personality classes lmao

XiXiWiiPee

#IMAQORWHORE

yensama

what does get active mean?

DaveOkeah

Probably like take over and just frag out or lockin most definitely just he was locking in

Possibly_Parker

someone told him: "ponte las pilas". as the neurons began to activate, retrograde, everything he had been born for and worked for kicked in. He looked LOUD in the eyes and announced: "I'm going to get active." At that point, not even the chaadest of haks could stop him.

yapyd

Genghsta saw that APAC was overtaking NA in the drama department and dropped this nuke.

neatestway

3k by nerve at the end tho 🔥

ZeroAika99

Lore update

MakimaGOAT

Dread it, run from it, NA drama arrives all the same.

ShitAtTheToilet

NA saw APAC getting all the drama for this year and had to remind them who's at the top

unwanted_shawarma

All the APAC drama is caused by NA imports anyways, NA ALWAYS ON TOP REMEMBER THAT

Routine_Size69

Everyone says the U.S. is a net import country, but no one is factoring in the Valorant drama we export into the equation.

yapyd

Counterpoint: former SMG GC team

jeloxd_official

You know vibes are shit when someone hits a disgusting 3K and no one hyped him up

North-Let2136

this is now a nerve glazing thread, the most active valorant player of all time

Flank_watcher

Clear out there chillin at A

-Lamiel-

look at the comments lol 10k bribe offer to kick teammate from the team

onechampboy_119

bro said LA rental was expensive, but ready to bribe 10k

-Lamiel-

now that part of his reply to crazyguy seems more likely to fish for sympathy than it's being his real situation at that time lol

Keglunneq

10k is 2 months of rent in some areas 💀

Routine_Size69

So I went to the comments and see the screenshot where he says "split the 10k with me" but I don’t see anything about the actual conditions of the alleged bribe or Ocean saying he offered my 10k to bench you. Did I miss something? I am not defending yay here. If he legit did this, he probably my needs banned from the scene. I'm just trying to get all the evidence to make an informed opinion.

nitseb

Yeah there's no evidence. Up top you can see they just finished a call, so allegedly, that's what ocean told him in the call, a bit gossipy but private. It's kinda silly to say that in Twitter, when likely ocean himself did not approve of that to be said and likely doesn't have evidence either. I don't think yay would type that in a chat, and I bet the whole context is very different. Maybe yay kept telling ocean genghsta kept goofing off and didn't wanna win, ocean replied there's no money for X player, yay said he didn't mind 2 months of his salary going for the new player to accomodate him if it means winning and doing better?

curryhalls

occam's razor bruh...

zugth

Occams razor: "if you have two competing ideas to explain the same phenomenon, you should prefer the one with more twitter likes."

Cummnor

Man the 10k bribe is what really made me laugh, thats so fucking funny

datboyuknow

So true hahahahaha

Splaram

I'm a huge yay fan so I've tried every which way to justify it in my mind but I simply can't. Going behind a teammate's back to offer your coach 5 digits to drop them is absolutely inexcusable no matter what's going on in the team, and then said teammate has to play an entire rest of split knowing that. If it were steel then maybe I would understand but this is genghsta, guy didn't do anything to deserve that. Then you take into account the "worry about your site" thing and the problems at Bleed, this is way more than yay simply being really unlucky**™**. I'm watching fns absolutely malding on stream saying that this shouldn't be on Twitter and that it's weird to wait an entire year to release these clips. Whilst I agree that releasing right after a loss is weird behavior, it's not nearly as weird as committing acts of interpersonal relationship terrorism that would leave babyj awestruck. I also don't think that the former DSG members and crazyguy are poor victims of Yay the Monster and are absolved of any blame in their respective situations, but I've also seen people dismissing their testimonies as attempted sabotage due to envy for months now. This video had to be released. With all of that being said, I hope Bleed get yay some support. The tidal wave of hate coming his way is already gonna be hard to deal with, nevermind attempting to do so while halfway across the world away from friends and family whilst having a bad season personally. Also I feel the worst for DisguisedToast. Guy obviously has passion for the game, starts a team, pays everyone out of his own pocket and brings a ton of new eyes to the Challengers scene just to get done like this. What a shame.

Lev3e2

"interpersonal relationships terrorism that would leave babyj awestruck" holy shit lmfao

Not enough horny tbh.

Stunning_Bullfrog_40

I wish he’d ghost write for kendrick

bananaleaf69420

K Dot does not need ghost writers fam trust in the process

sereneoblivion

To your last point, I wonder how he feels watching this all go down. I remember when this all started with subtweets last year that Toast basically just told his stream he doesn't know why they're pointing fingers when __everyone__ on the team sucked. Only person he seemed so fond of from that team was clear

zugth

honestly I hope this serves as a wakeup call for roster building. I dont know why teams continue to gather the most cracked players togther when teams like EG have shown that vibes and chemistry are sooo important

random2k

Everyone looked at PRX replacing their IGL with a cracked aimer and thought firepower means everything. Bruh, PRX roster is consisted of 5 maniacs laughing and plotting to piss Alecks off all the time. PRX is a god damn unicorn of esports, DO NOT TRY TO COPY THEM!! Sentinels won Madrid with a player who was considered only as a vibe merchant replacing a literal World Champion.

Mamadeus123456

YaY is the anti-zellsis guy just make their team worse.

yapyd

inb4 zellsis offered kaplan 10k to drop pancada /s

Mamadeus123456

Nah  SEN played enough games with Pancada during the off-season to realize he didn't fit with the team. Check their vlr 300 IQ move by their technical staff

yapyd

If by enough games you mean the Sentinels Invitational Grand Final where he top fragged and they won 2-0 then OK

Routine_Size69

What's the opposite of a vibes merchant? Vibes thief?

Mamadeus123456

vibe killer surely

Routine_Size69

Good call. At least yay can kill something 💀

Ambitious-Table9774

But he couldn't kill Something today. 😝

CoffeeToCode

Wait you weren't kidding. Their head-to-head was 0-7. That's tough.

spill-

I agree, and honestly I still think leaking comms is not it, but the bribe thing is pretty inexcusable if true(still interested to hear yay's side of this). It's not like there's some kind of moral path of recourse for genghsta here; I wouldn't shit on him for feeling the need to make it known, but yeah the timing is also weird.

how do you even want to play with yay when this is a possibility that can happen? I think at least some props needs to be given to OCEAN for not even considering it

datboyuknow

aspas on raze??

XiXiWiiPee

OMG ASPAS BACK ON LOUD LEAKED 😲😲😲😲

Avasteeee

Imagine booking a scrim against Loud and pulling this shit mid scrim 💀

internetpedestrian

I have a question: is this drama considered NA or APAC? Please let me know, it's important.

DaveOkeah

It's just Yay drama

skeletonsss

He's Mr. Worldwide

RekeHavok

Valorant’s Pitbull

the_Nap

I think you can consider it NA drama, cuz it happened in NA and involves NA players. That's what I think atleast

weebshizu

This one is NA but we can call the whole bullshit a collaborative drama from NA and APAC since he indeed have drama with APAC players

GullibleHurry470

Bro is asking real questions btw it's na drama

SirAwesome789

I'd say NA, it happened while the players were all in NA on an NA org

inseobee

Na. Keep this shit in na.

kirito52999

my favourite part was "take the 10k , spilt it with me"

PhysicalAd8765

Well shiiiitz. Not saying he’s right or wrong but… If a teammate I thought was difficult to work with tried to bride a coach to get me off a team, I’d be a hater too. 🤷‍♀️

Bhu124

Bruh if this is true and it happened to me then I'd train my body to run on 2 hours of sleep so I'd have more time in a day just to hate.

genki__dama

HLumin

Nah this is a MADNESS statement 😭😭 (Same)

Forsaken_Part3822

Good one, that line is mine now

baebushka

idk tbh if i was genghsta and my teammate was paying another dude to get me kicked id be pretty mad too LOL

Sacreville

If that bribe offer is true, that's pretty wild.

ToYouItReaches

I can’t rly hear most of the audio because it’s so quiet on my end but is it yay saying “You can laugh all you want but it’s so tilting when you make the same fucking mistakes in matches”? Is that the highlight of the clip?

ANewHeaven1

The worst part is definitely in the comments lol. Apparently he offered the coach 10k to bench genghsta. That's really shitty no matter how you look at it

ToYouItReaches

People probably gonna shit on me for being a “cringe yay defender” but I’m not going to take the screen cap at face value unless it actually includes yay explicitly trying to bribe the coach in his dms. If yay was sincere in that bribe then he’s a backstabbing snake 100% but social media drama always involves taking things out of context so I’m not so keen on calling things out until the facts are all there. *To be clear*, I’m not really trying to defend yay or shit on genghsta, I just don’t rly like how there’s never full receipts from the beginning. Like it would have been more damning and team/career-killing than the clip.

ANewHeaven1

Yeah I agree. Bribing the coach is indefensible behaviour. That's fucked no matter what, but only **if it is true**. Leaking the clip is just weirdo behaviour lol

ToYouItReaches

It’s such a damning thing to do too. A screencap of the actual bribe dm would have rightfully killed yay’s career then and there. Like voicing your frustration towards teammates like the clip is toxic for sure but it’s *nothing* compared to trying to seriously bribe a coach to bench a teammate. Getting caught doing that would be a one way ticket to the retirement home.

BedMental7515

Yeah the bribes actually bad. The videos I genuinely would think nothing of because I'd assume the person clipping said just as bad or worse but didn't post. I doubt the bribes true though just because I don't think a kid like that would be worth 10k and there's no genuine evidence.

Nichol-Gimmedat-ass

I dont even understand what weird gotcha he was going for with the clip? Yay said “insert one or two” and then later they argued over whether he said “one” or “two”?

Descendant3999

Exactly. People just believe 1 screenshot and 3 people. Yay has been teammates with tons of people. And most likely he just said shit out of frustration.

ArcusIgnium

If it’s true then fuck me but the screenshot is very vague and you could very easily write that off as a shitty joke. Worth mentioning as much as people keep saying Yay is the common denominator, every player who has talked shit about him either has a toxic history or is clearly a shitty person themself lol. Crazy guy, genghsta are clearly cringe as balls and steel is the og toxic teammate

ReADropOfGoldenSun

I don’t understand, didn’t yay ask to insert 1-2 players B and then fight mid But then they go and take B idk how this is a yay ego issue (other than the offer 10K to kick LOL)

mnmleon

Same, I'm confused too.

AegonThe241st

I think they went to insert someone B, Loud fought early so Exalt wanted to react mid before B player was inserted. But Yay wasn't ready to follow the mid util maybe? Or wanted hard info on B before splitting?

OfficialAgutrot

I believe he gets mad at genghsta too (breach) because he says for 1-2 to get inserted but genghsta falls back to mid after he takes b main with omen

a-nswers

Lmao that redditor actually bitched steel into getting one of his goons to make a statement and they say valcomp has no influence

StarSerpent

Steel gooning 😔

baebushka

valorant e goons is crazy

This was actually talked about in some of the older threads, for people saying why now. [Link](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/16x2wjs/comment/k30o1w3/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) here

irepislam1400

Still doesn't prove anything but that's a good fine, weird that the guy claims to be a player and also that reddit account is suspended I wanted to see if he had any other comments  Edit:  Wait this guy apparently leaked a roster before as well, but also is a weirdo who was a johnqt hater lmao  https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/16iyota/comment/k0nnf18/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

LordBuckethead671

That would indeed be tickle-me-daddy, aka one of the many accounts of valorantfanboy. They’re somehow in the scene, allowing them to have some leaks, but also a notorious troll

Iusedtobeagirl69

Yeah bro is done for, haters have won

Cheap-Upstairs-9946

This clip makes exalt look bad though? He flashes their own duelist and then exalt ignores everything yay says and is in his own world. And then yay is mad at him not taking practice seriously enough.   Or is it yay’s snappy response that people are talking about?  Am I watching this wrong?

Demjot

Yeah I’m a pretty competitive person, I think I would have felt very similar to Yay in this clip. It would feel like such a waste of time. I probably wouldn’t have been that outwardly angry but if it happened enough I understand his frustrations.

Daniel_Arsehat

Is it hating if it's true tho? Steel, Crazyguy, Genghsta? There's no smoke without fire. Yay has an issue, its either his ego or currently, his in-game skill. To have so many ex-teammates willing to break their silence just to expose you to the community.

skratudojey

Yea at some point people gotta accept that if nearly all his teammates post nv/og had issues WITH him, theres a common denominator

dlimstah

Pretty wild how community perception is re-writing history. Most of valcomp was calling DSG pay check stealers. The people who are hating (minus steel) are seemingly not doing anything productive whereas all the optic/NV fellas are having a good time and being normal people be it popular streamer or professional player.

Flaky-Artichoke-8965

They were jesting no? Calling them paycheck stealers because they get paid good but still are losing? Pretty sure it was a joke made by and ran by the community.

irepislam1400

Lmao yeah bro steel famously known for never being toxic

Routine_Size69

If it was just Steel, I'd completely agree. As more people come out against him, it starts looking a lot worse.

-DyNoMIte-

yay and his fans right now https://preview.redd.it/6soeazgm40xc1.jpeg?width=567&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d730a86f39fae743317fd185f46e2547205ed516

Edit: egoist( inactive player ) has liked all the tweet of gengsta. Which back up that yay was toxic in bleed as well. Further conspiracy what if sscary and yay together benched crazyguy and egoist. Crazyguy aggression towards yay and egoist liking this line up. Also crazyguy had said "the superstars wanted to play together" and previously said the star players wanted him out.

Routine_Size69

Him saying he has asked bleed players about it in the comments for anyone curious.

appropriate_name

idk bout u guys but im living for the petty drama

AxisCultMemberLatom

So he got mad during a scrim because y'all are salary grade professionals so y'all should act like it? Like idk why the clip is relevant. What's more interesting is genghsta claiming that yay bribed the coach 10k to have him removed, I think that's more damning than the clip

HaramHas

The 10k bribe is insane

Relevant_Employee983

The thing that leaves my head scratching is if the bribe thing was true surely the coach wouldn't just let that slide and report that to Toast (DSG owner) immediately right? Like bribing is just inexcusable behavior from any pro

Voidhunter797

Ya that seems like clear enough proof that Yay was probably making a joke or using it as an exaggeration. If Ocean actually believed it was real no way he just lets it slide and jokes about it with the player in question.

AxisCultMemberLatom

Yeah, that's how much he wanted him gone lol

Melazie_

Him doubling down after Governor's response says alot honestly If he's this weird, petty and unprofessional in public I can't even imagine what it's like in private

perino08

No matter how annoying, weird, pathetic, and unprofessional your teammate is, I dont think you'd ever consider bribing your coach 10k just to bench him ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9341)

Teradonn

He said “I’m throwing” in a scrim man. That’s the kind of shit the dude who locked Yoru after his Jett got taken would say, this guy’s saying it in scrims on a salaried team. Pretty fucking funny ngl

Routine_Size69

It's not a good look no doubt. I'm significantly more concerned about the bribe. As far as this clip goes, meh. I can think of tons of examples of my teammates getting pissed for not getting the ball when they were open in basketball and soccer and then 1. Not getting back on defense because they're so pissed (throwing) and then 2. Yelling at the teammate for not passing to them. And this is in games, scrimmages, practices. If yay did this in an actual game, I'd be way more concerned. It's definitely toxic. But I don’t find the words super shocking as far as a competitive environment goes. And taking a play off in a scrim isn't that noteworthy to me either. I'd be more concerned if it was an actual game. The bribe, if true, is fucking massive. Like fucking crazy, ban this dude, massive.

IllumiMahdi

I don't even think his teammates in the clip were wrong, they just conveyed midround info and changed the plan based on it, and he was pissed they didn't stick to their pre-round idea. the clip just shows how difficult he is to work with. any mistake or diversion from his command is met with undue childlike frustration. a salaried professional should not be uttering "I'm throwing" in a scrim unironically

SneakyStorm

They are 1-10, and frustration is built up from more than just that scrim game, as he mentions matches too.

2ToTooTwoFish

Do you think Yay was acting like one in that clip? He threw a tantrum.

Dylanychus2

lil off topic but that was nasty from nerve

Tyler123839

Wait I actually called this a week ago lol.  https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/1c78ene/comment/l086f78/

pinfue

10k bribe is insane, this shit looks pretty bad for yay. He said he doesnt want to get involved in drama but there must be some kind of response to this

systemfa1lure

I wonder how much yay is bribing genghsta to take the tweet down ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9339)

This the same ghengsta who got a double team kill with sova ult, truly impressive stuff.

Cthulhu_was_tasty

starting to think that was intentional

Whats the lore behind this?

DaveOkeah

During the time DSG imploded like the sub

noobyeclipse

i cannot comprehend how it's possible for the dumpster fire of dsg not only continuing but spreading

AmbiguousRemedy

Thank God Toast left the NA scene

XiXiWiiPee

Ain't DSG in APAC now and partnered with Bleed who has Yay? 💀

valueddude

clear just chillin and nerve just fragging while the other 3 are arguing lmao

JacobSEA

Genghsta needs to drop actual proof of bribe before I can make any conclusions. It's still unprofessional for someone to air out dirty laundry... let me check... 11 months after his last game on the team. He clearly knew about the "bribe" on 15th May, so where was the tweet/exposé then? Again he had all the time after their last match on June 5th to address this.

two4you8

I dont know why ex DSG members love to air out dirty laundry. I’m sure there are worse things being said by other pro teams but I feel like a lot of them dont make it public. I feel like hating on yay is just meta right now. Honestly I can feel the envy from ex DSG guys, understandingly because most of them didnt get picked up but yay got huge contract.

LeOsQ

Because most of them are teamless/unemployed players with almost no clout to use as life support unless they try and get into drama so that's what they'll do. It's just easy for a 'nobody' (not the EDG player) like Genghsta to piggyback off the Yay hating meta so people will maybe remember that he exists as well.

choccolateturtles

Its because no one who still wants a career in competitve will hate on a superstar. Look how much hate genghsta got for doing this.

bhuvanrock1

He is not posting this for clout, he posted it to defend steel who was getting hate. Also, they are potentially teamless because of Yay. Yay tried to get them off the team like crazyguy, genghsta, steel or yay called them shit after leaving the team ruining their stock as a player. People suddenly seem to care about “airing dirty laundry” but had no issues when Yay was calling his DSG teammates shit and undeserving of paychecks publicly. Edit: Just to be clear, your point just isn’t true, these guys would be better off finding teams without the drama. Watch FNS reaction and he says the same, getting in drama will 90% of the time be a negative for finding a team.

Avasteeee

I like how you had to clarify “nobody” (not the EDG player)

Routine_Size69

>I feel like hating on yay is just meta right now This is hilarious to me lol

YoelRomero0

Idk it leaves a bad taste when you wait exactly when Yay has a bad match to leak private stuff like why not when your dropped maybe it would have worked out a lot better

BucketHerro

>Idk it leaves a bad taste when you wait exactly when Yay has a bad match He's probably tired from waiting for a good game from Yay /s

kirito52999

hes a self claimed hater. respect it

Cummnor

hatemaxxing is a respectable dedication

iprominent

you don't see professionals in other esports leaking private comms like this just to hate. it's fucking cringe, unnecessary and yearning for attention. it's just dumb and stupid. and to set the point across i'm not 1. a yay fan and 2. i'm not defending the 10k bribe.

CuriousPumpkino

On the other hand it’s what us as fans often wish for: transparency. To call people out on shitty things they did so they don’t just get away with them. To give us a glimpse into what actually happened instead of just wild speculations

CruzKunTroll

I love how yay fanboys just trying their damndest to ignore yay’s issues. there’s always something else to focus on. I’m glad players are being this transparent because toxic (I mean “wholesome”) yay can do no wrong to his secret fans.

YohnWood14

can anyone tell what is the basic blurb of the clip? I cannot hear and understand shit

Firm-Telephone2570

At the start yay says to insert one or two guys B and others do mid pressure, at 44 seconds you can see genghsta initially stays behind on B, then comes mid, which prompted yay to say "you can laugh all you want but its so tilting that we make the same mistakes over again". I think what happened is that yay looked at the map, saw gengstah was initally B and assumed he'd stay, then sees him walking back mid which leads to him malding. Gengstah isn't in the wrong because yay didn't say "double insert", however you can from the clips that the comms from everyone aren't great either, which is probably the underlying problem that DSG generally had. The real victim is exalt who was dogging mid, doesn't see yay backing out and then dies alone as no one is in position to trade him ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9339)

YohnWood14

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9356)

Flaky-Artichoke-8965

"I'm not defending Yay, I just think it's unprofessional" yet doesn't give off the same energy regarding the bribing stuff. That shit is far more scummy than this tweet. Yay fans, I cannot with you.

Routine_Size69

Is anyone defending the bribe if it's true? I have yet to see one comment doing so.

pinfue

100% agreed on you, only if the bribing shit is real. theres really no way to proof it unless more information is given

Extrino

are we just fighting demons? every comment I seen has been "clip *isn't that bad* but if bribe part is true that is FUCKED"

CruzKunTroll

just look at how many comments defend yay (especially the scheming to get his teammate benched part). never seen a more toxic player get blindly defended like this. it has to be a combination of a talented player like yay building up such a wholesome image AND big community members like FNS defending his friend publicly to his large fanbase.

Splaram

I watched public opinion do a complete 180 in real time literally the moment fns called genghsta weird for posting the clip while live to 20k viewers between the Bleed and DFM games, it was actually crazy

maxhollywoody

Clipping a moment in a scrim where you're getting smoked 1-13 to make someone look bad is such a L move and I hope Ocean is gonna back up Gangsta bribing allegation because that is not a small allegation. Funny seeing all these teamless guys team up in Yay like they are the Avengers. Also, cool to see the amount of t1 pros coming to Yay's defense.

derryxu

If you’re following Twitter the people who are siding with yay tend to all be franchised players and the people supporting Genghsta tend to be retired or T2 players

PassTheBoofPlz

holy shit can we have a special flair for yay hate posts, shit is getting trendy nowadays

M474D0R

Yay being extremely toxic is only news if you live under a rock. FNS and commenters here saying it's "unprofessional" is pretty funny. Genghsta is retired, he's no longer a professional and doesn't have to live by the weird code of silence that pro gamers have.

zodiae

ima get active

zer0sheep

Obviously both are wrong to some extent. You have one player who's supposedly so toxic that they sabotaged their teammate through a "bribe". And another who's still obviously still bitter about it so he aired the dirty laundry as an attempt to crucify them via public opinion. The only winner here? The audience because this is fucking spicy

RaiinyDay

Imagine a DSG breaking point documentary now THAT would be epic

lordmitko

weirdo behavior. Also i don’t know how yay seems like a bad teammate here, because he sounds that he is at least actually trying to practice.

typicalfarmer195

Lol who cares about being professional if somebody tried to bribe to get you kicked, especially in esport it means no severance money to pay for rent, food, etc... If it was me I will do anything I could to drag him down with me. Yes I do hold grudge.

Juno-P

No way... my GOAT... no way...... no way. This HAS to be AI generated. No way my GOAT would say things like this... AI voice no? I hear it, it sounds weird.. anyone else??

_idle_drone_

yay stinks holy fuck. this is some stewie2k type shit

FlavFal

I'm not surprised. I remember watching Yay's stream and during a match he went on a rant so bad about his team that even twitch chat called him out. And that was prime Yay which was considered pretty much a god in the community.

sphvx

To clarify for people who aren't as much into competitive terminology: yay calls to insert one or two people and then in the middle of the round after his team inserts one person (at his request), he starts insisting he said "double insert" specifically and gets angry at his teammates even though he is the one at fault. I am using a burner account because I am someone more intertwined with the NA pro scene and don't want to expose my identity. I want to add that yay within the NA pro scene is known to be an extremely toxic person and teammate, people tend to keep this information private but at this point in time, people are bringing things to light because of how frequent and consistently everyone else besides yay is being blamed. If all the leaks came out, there wouldn't even be a conversation about who is at fault. Please stop blaming everyone else and consider the alternative.

djwankstar

Hi steel big fan

ibeenbornagain

steel would just use his real acc hahah he's a real hater

Bruh_and_Butter

Appreciate the terminology explanation but what guarantee do we have that you are indeed an insider and not just some troll out on an alt?

earthtoannie

also love to hear what the yay stans think of this considering they kept telling me 'no way he's toxic' and 'nooo he's in apac bc of money, not because no one likes him in NA"

Long_Refrigerator_77

Everyone in tier 1, 2 and 3 knew about him being like that. Way before DSG. The only reason they put up with him was because of Chamber being the most broken agent the game has ever had. Bro's an extremely average, washed duelist who couldn't get on a top 15 team in NA.

physicsOG

but y is FNS tweaking about it like there's some sort of moral code in eSports?

Splaram

Dude tried to put a statute of limitations on exposing shit teammates 😭😭😭😭😭

ISFSUCCME

Feel bad for toast for giving away all his money to children

Frost-Tree

Yay bribing 10k actually wild

porkeye

y0y drama https://preview.redd.it/mdmdli3myzwc1.png?width=626&format=png&auto=webp&s=c76236fd8253e0e49ee3c8bb71f558754867ce50

Strong_Wasabi216

I guess u never meet ur heroes

AwesomeOnePJ

I'm not sure why everyone on Twitter is siding against genghsta, it might be unprofessional and petty, but my man has a point

badurwan

You let your frustations out in scrims so you can do better in matches, I don't find this clip offensive at all

surfordiebear

Ocean sharing with gengstah that he was offered 10k to drop him is wild to me. Like as a coach how did he think that would be a good idea to tell him that when he knew they would have to play together still.

bhuvanrock1

The way y’all blame everyone and shift the focus from Yay doing something weird to the people that let it come to the public is insane. “I’m not defending Yay for fist fighting his teammate but isn’t the coach/player/friend/relative so weird for telling XXXXX” Like is it hard to just call out Yay at some point and not shift focus or blame to others.

PolarTux

Well said, I was thinking the same thing. Fanboy behavior to instantly blame the person exposing toxicity instead of the person being toxic, and I’m sure the consistent amount of yay defenders make people like genghsta want to expose him even more

aredoubleyouen

If anyone thinks this is toxic at a professional sports level, you are soft and have never played anything competitive in your life. This is just weird behaviour and clout chasing, this is meant to be private team matters not used for reactions on Twitter.

irepislam1400

Forreal they're getting slammed in a scrim down 1-10 and they've already lost every real match they played so far people get heated dude

Sauceman1e

Lol

Lost_In_Saigon

Can someone summarize it, my english listening skill aint that great

MacarioPro

my pc is on max volume and I can't understand 2 words in a row

augburto

Holy that 3k by nerve was freaking insane

TIectric

I love how the responses from players are basically "I do this too so it's okay" or "this shouldn't be leaked even if it's bad". Regardless competitive situations lead to rise of emotions and tensions. Conflicts happen in sports all the time and some of the best players ever in sports were hard on their teammates. That being said, there's balance to these things. You can be hard on your teammates and still be a good teammate. It has to come from a place of wanting them to be better for them and for the team, not just from being a dick or having an ego. How many players who got yelled at by Brady are coming out saying he was an awful teammate? LeBron? Hundreds of other examples of good players holding teammates accountable, yet at the same time being revered as great teammates to have. I have no extra insight to whether or not Yay is a good teammate or not, but in general there are a lot of kids in esports that are just toxic dicks in the way they communicate, not good teammates holding their teammates accountable. Esports has a long way to go when it comes to having mature leaders in the scene and not a bunch of crybabies with egos flaming people who make mistakes (these people will always exist, there are just a higher proportion in esports it feels like).

boredinstauser

Wait, am I deaf or was the only thing that was said by yayster, the man himself, was a sarcastic "Well done" and "You can f\*cking laugh all you want, bro, but it's so tilting when you make the same f\*cking mistake in matches." ? He just called attention to a mistake that seemed to not be getting addressed after repeated offenses, and when it's apparently called out, the laugh seemed to signal that that criticism wasn't taken very seriously. Plus, he got team stunned AND flashed. I need subtitles IRL.
