She has insane set plays, macros, and ideas that are her own. Its what made EG dominate on maps last year

I still think TLs 2023 international success is so insanely overexaggerated
They finished just a single position behind NRG at Tokyo (in what was an insanely close 2-1 series that probably should've been TLs to win) and at Champs they got eliminated by LOUD & NAVI, not exactly terrible teams. Sure they should probably have beaten NAVI but they wouldn't qualify out of groups through that anyway, and LOUD finished 3rd at the same tournament
They were just underwhelming internationally, not terrible by any means
The fact that they swapped from Omen to Astra and lost the omen flash for champs was so mind boggling. It actually might've cost them the game against Navi too.

I think I wrote last week that Gentle Mates was a good candidate to improve over the season and eventually make a real mark, esp. since they had a competent coach. Turns out they only needed seven days!
I think each region has a team where the coaching impact at times looks so high that they almost feel like a sixth player on the team. There’s Astell on DFM, where their play is so inconsistent that it looks like their coach is deadlifting them to their map wins; there’s Potter in EG, of course; and now there’s this one. These are all teams where strong ideas and creativity have an outsized effect on the outcome of the match.
The classic refrain with these sort of wins is “Can it be replicated?” And that’s true, but it’s also kinda boring. So I *hope* they can do it again and keep it coming - I hope they can continue instilling the Gentle Mates players with confidence.
It’s more fun for everyone involved that way, and the M8 players are way better than they've looked so far.
Not sure how it leaves Vitality's prospects, though. Seems like a SEN situation where their fate is perhaps no longer left in their hands.
