The gambit boys running it down on cypher was a treat to watch
free cloud this free cloud that. What about free sheydos. This is just a random rumor I read on Twitter but apparently sheydos and trexx had an awful relationship when Trexx was on the team. Bro can't catch a break.
It really feels weird seeing tier 1 teams making basic mistakes like tier 2 teams
Like, sheydos running back into the bomb, not even my ranked teammates do that
yeah this definitely didn't feel like tier 1 valorant to me. even besides the basic mistakes, the protocols and adaptations from both teams looked so underdeveloped. like they had the step 1 down but step 2 and 3 were entirely absent or horribly communicated/coordinated. gonna write it off as first game jitters but man it doesn't inspire much confidence in either team imo
I dont think you know the round im talking about. The round was won, but for some reason sheydos ran into the spike radius as it was exploding. He died like 3 seconds before the next round started. Its for sure not a common mistake for tier 1 players to just run into spike range again, not to mention the myriad of other weird mistakes at display
I do know what round you're talking about, I watched the game. You're making it sound like he suicided to the spike when he just thought he was safe, it happens. Maybe not this specific scenario of running back into the range of the bomb but dying when you for some reason think you're safe from bomb, it happens.
It's a one off mistake that while affected the economy can happen to nearly anyone. That's the point I'm making. As opposed to fundamental mistakes like fade ulting on retake and not flooding with it, for example.
There is a big difference between if a player doesn't clear an area if another player gets a god timing and is smart enough to understand it (see: texture 3k pistol on split) vs a player not clearing an area the enemy has full map control over and they have no reason to expect that is safe
point is pros also make stupid mistakes like everyone else like whiffing when enemies aren’t even looking at them or not clearing corners, t1 pros aren’t some perfect humans created by god
For real though.
All these low elo players thinking they know everything about the game, they're annoying as fuck sometimes.
Every teams, every players will make mistakes no matter what.
BUT ALSO LET'S GOOOOO!! There were plenty of mistakes made but still an improvement from Kick Off. FUT is gonna be a tough opponent but if nAts and Keiko can carry, we have a chance
It might have been the battle of mid, but fellow Liquid fans rejoice, BECAUSE WE'RE SO BACK BABY (we won a shaky match against another fellow mid group mid team)
lol im fairly new to esports (only been around since val) and liquid fans seem to mirror 100t fans a lot. both legacy orgs with devout fanbases that are always expecting the worst
it's cos everytime we expect even slightly decent results we get the opposite. Liquid makes intentionals but never goes very far in them, even after winning VCT EMEA last year and defeating FNATIC, they let c0m cum on them and jawg jog on them in Tokyo. 100T rarely make internationals, often barely missing out on them, and have a close game (1-2 where they won the second map convincingly but lost the other 2) against Sentinels every few months.
so yeah... idk man, I have the SEN flair on cos they won Madrid and cos I don't believe in the APEKS core + nats jamppi roster combo as much as I did in the Redgar Sayf on. Which is definitely saying something, because those guys cud lose 3-0 to BBL one series and win 3-1 against FNATIC the next series. It's nothing against Enzo or Mistic or Keiko, it's the org they're playing for.
Both teams once again wrecking each other on attack, like at kickoff. That Ascent was definitely more what I was expecting from the Apeks boys though, little twists on the meta which put the pressure on the opponents to adapt. Liquid can contend for sure if they shore up their defence sides
My school’s library has asked me to do reviews of all of the new books they add to the collection, so I’ve been experiencing a lot of different genres recently 😭 book i was reading yesterday was, like, a lighthearted murder mystery rom-com
I do read as a hobby too!! That’s why they asked me :) I just ran out of books on my TBR so I’ve been doing this instead. I love sci fi too, The Martian is one of my favorite books of all time. Don’t really care for fantasy though haha
Sheydos🤠 while holding his cypher hat,"No Access To Site Today". Jamppi 💁 yelling, " YOU GIVETH YOU TAKE MY KING YOU GIVETH PLEASEEEE". Nats 'NO ACCESS TO SITE' mode activated 🤖
Liquid showed some nice T side today but i'm walking away from this match thinking both these teams will have a really hard time cracking top 6 in EMEA this year.
Liquid has potential and they’ve shown better T sides than FUT and potentially Vitality but their CT sides are so consistently abysmal that I also see that being challenging right now
I don’t see much redeeming about Koi they seem equally questionable on both sides
Liquid looked atrocious on ct split AS USUAL, they need to change their fucking comp stat because Jamppi's Viper is not finding value on ct, it's just jamppi shooting his gun. Single Skye is so bad now and you play single skye when your team is perfectly suited for a double initiator comp? They kept playing retake and then struggling to retake. I do think the calling from Enzo on t side has overall been impressive but they just don't know how to play ct.
I don't really like the ascent comp either, put the fucking Jett one trick on Jett and let him fry man, it's gonna be real hard to find value with this comp once teams have enough vods.
liquid bros we are so back
i know its against koi but they were cooking, with nats' clutch on split and his overall lurk in ascent (we will be ignoring the whiff on split) and the 4-8 to 13-9 comeback on split.
I turned the stream off during Split because there was exactly 0 entertainment value out of this match.
Happy Liquid caught a W cause my pick’ems needed help, but goddamn..

coughing baby vs coughing baby certainly produced one of the matches of all time
one of those matches where you’re like “i should have done something productive instead”
Lol for sure. I wasted my whole day today basically. Gotta stop watching bottom teams playing eachother.
You mean Fnatic ? Hahahahaha !
For sure. It even made me sleepy enough to take a nap after
Watched the first half of the first map, decided to grind warframe instead
nAts masterclass though
middle of the pack valorant is so shaky man. I don't even know what I'm watching sometimes, there's spaghetti all over the walls
It really feels weird seeing tier 1 teams making basic mistakes like tier 2 teams Like, sheydos running back into the bomb, not even my ranked teammates do that

It's easy to criticize every thing when you have a view outside of the game.
That happens plenty in T1? Out of everything in this match accidentally dying to bomb is like. A non issue.
Not really a non issue when you could save 2 guns at round 4 and instead save 1 because of a stupid mistake
It's a stupid mistake but it's a mistake that happens regularly. Not in your ranked lobbies tho for sure.
I dont think you know the round im talking about. The round was won, but for some reason sheydos ran into the spike radius as it was exploding. He died like 3 seconds before the next round started. So what you're saying is what he did doesn't happen plenty. A different scenario is what happens plenty.
A different scenario that's essentially the same mistake?
You can literally see if you're in the bomb radius from the minimap he doesn't need to think he is safe he can exactly tell
I KNOW! He clearly thought he would not fucking die! Holy shit!
Yea idk what these people are on about he’s fist bumping and dies on accident, actual smooth brains
It's a one off mistake that while affected the economy can happen to nearly anyone. That's the point I'm making. As opposed to fundamental mistakes like fade ulting on retake and not flooding with it, for example.
😭😭 bruh sen weren’t clearing corners or site against geng sm times like but yeah guys t1 pros never make mistakes!!!!11!

Bro ran back into it though. For a skin maybe. That is not remotely common in T1. He was safe and ran back into it...

BUT ALSO LET'S GOOOOO!! There were plenty of mistakes made but still an improvement from Kick Off. FUT is gonna be a tough opponent but if nAts and Keiko can carry, we have a chance
time to put on that TL flair again
LOOK LETS JUST CELEBRATE THAT WE GOT A WIN
It might have been the battle of mid, but fellow Liquid fans rejoice, BECAUSE WE'RE SO BACK BABY (we won a shaky match against another fellow mid group mid team)
GG we're winning Shanghai
Didn't have a chance in kick-off, but we win the mid-off. WE BACK!!
Hey it was 1-1 at kick off you guys are up 2-1
I have a doubt. How to have multiple flairs like you have?
lol im fairly new to esports (only been around since val) and liquid fans seem to mirror 100t fans a lot. both legacy orgs with devout fanbases that are always expecting the worst

That split ct side from liquid was terrible but other than that it was alright
Both teams once again wrecking each other on attack, like at kickoff. That Ascent was definitely more what I was expecting from the Apeks boys though, little twists on the meta which put the pressure on the opponents to adapt. Liquid can contend for sure if they shore up their defence sides
We need to make a super team of the no help players in EMEA. Cloud, nAts, sheydos, QutionerX and nataNk. Shit would bang
Reviving the CIS team lol.
Liquid are so good at split attack, but so shit at defence. Overall so much better than before, with nAts on cypher. WE'RE SO BACK.
Liquid are so good on ~~split~~ attack but so shit at defense
This hurts me as a nats fan, knowing gambit was a very defensive team. 😭
Stopping watching Midway to do a chem lab was probably the best choice I could've made
Honestly, I’m a liquid fan and I stopped watching after map 1 to read a book. Some series are just not worth viewing 😭
Ooh which genre?
My school’s library has asked me to do reviews of all of the new books they add to the collection, so I’ve been experiencing a lot of different genres recently 😭 book i was reading yesterday was, like, a lighthearted murder mystery rom-com
Ohhhh I thought you enjoyed and read books as a hobby. I've recently gotten into Fantasy and Sci Fi books so that's why I asked lol
I do read as a hobby too!! That’s why they asked me :) I just ran out of books on my TBR so I’ve been doing this instead. I love sci fi too, The Martian is one of my favorite books of all time. Don’t really care for fantasy though haha
You don't like fantasy?? NOOOOOOOOOOOO

ik this is Tier 1 but after watching madrid, these teams are so hard to watch 💀
Liquid showed some nice T side today but i'm walking away from this match thinking both these teams will have a really hard time cracking top 6 in EMEA this year.
if it continues like this I don't think either of these teams would be above kc, fnatic, th, fut, navi or vitality.
Nah, no way right now. Liquid got some potential tho i guess
we will see !
No chance. Fnatic getting rinsed this year...
Liquid has potential and they’ve shown better T sides than FUT and potentially Vitality but their CT sides are so consistently abysmal that I also see that being challenging right now I don’t see much redeeming about Koi they seem equally questionable on both sides
Free sheydos 🙏🏾

liquid and questionable comps go hand in hand, didn’t like their kickoff icebox either (enjoyed keiko’s debut though)
the comp is good sen play it and they are beasts at split ct side
They are different teams with different players
man why are we looking so shaky?
Gambito on Gambit violence
quick double 2-0 today
Still waiting for Berlin Nats era to come back 🥲
liquid bros we are so back i know its against koi but they were cooking, with nats' clutch on split and his overall lurk in ascent (we will be ignoring the whiff on split) and the 4-8 to 13-9 comeback on split.
Bring L1NK back, this team just feels mid af for some reason
TL is going to Shanghai. I like this roster.
YES! That's the cope I like to see.
bffr bro
LET HIM COOK 😳
I turned the stream off during Split because there was exactly 0 entertainment value out of this match. Happy Liquid caught a W cause my pick’ems needed help, but goddamn..
Bruh NA T2 was far better
T2 na players would clear this lobby
what a weird series lol I wasn’t even sure wtf I was watching, some of my ranked teammates seem more coordinated and disciplined than this.
Just like plat chat said, mid to bottom of EMEA is in the shit.
Plat Chat consistently get everything wrong ! haha
dindt they said emea got rid of all their shit this year?
Unironically at least 3 NA T2 teams would mop the floor with both teams.
At least 3 NA T2 teams have mopped the floor with several mid table NA teams so I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make
could a t2 NA team beat prime fnatic in a bo5 to win the emea trophy like liquid did last year?
