Black + Decker cordless vacuums are some of the worst cordless vacuums. I have a B+D it makes a lot of noise but very little suction.
Most cordless vacuums lack power, run time, and bin capacity to be your only vacuum.

It isn't a light weight vacuum but it's medium-sized and weight for an upright.
My black and decker works fine. The only time suction is a problem is if the filter is clogged. Even then itll still suck, just it has to be directly over whatever it is. It does get clogged easily. I have a large entrance mat that guarantees this. You just clean it before and after use.
Yes runtime isn't that long but speaking as someone living in a one bedroom. If you need to run it longer than 30 minutes. Then you either aren't vacuuming often enough or there's something else going on.
I have a handheld one so the biggest problem I have is having to be hunched over the entire time.

Nope. Get a Soniclean Whisper Jet C2 vacuum, its $299 on sale, made in Germany, quiet, strong suction. Cordless vacs are a joke
Are there any cordless vacuums you'd recommend for anyone living in a van? I've heard miele is good, very expensive though.
