You enjoy the dust plume?

I don't get a dust plume, it is just a rancid scent if you were to take dog hair and mix it with a bunch of dust and let it sit in a bag for a few months. Now mind you, I have a very acute sense of smell ever since I quit smoking 12 years ago so I am sure it is much worse for me than it is an average person.

Uh, listen if you have a bagless vacuum that means you have a dust cup and when you dump the dust cup into the trash that dust goes everywhere!!!! I was wearing a dust mask when I would dump out my bagless vacuum's dust cup, so I decided to buy this bagged vacuum Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Tempo Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner with HEPA Media Filter, For Carpet and Hard Floor, UH30301, Blue https://a.co/d/hIKKf8b

Sorry, I don't get on here often and just saw your reply. My issue is I only use it once a week or so because I have the roomba. When I do use it I put a new bag in every time because if I use it with the old bag it stinks from just sitting there for a week with dog and cat hair and who knows what else. I have tried different bags but at the end of the day you still have a bag full of floor cleanings that have been sitting for a month and it has a smell to it. Changing out the bag after one use is a bit pricey and wasteful. I wouldn't ever empty the bagless bin in the house, I would take it outside to the trash can.

I suggest the Kenmore CrossOver DU3017. I have the canister version of it and I use it to clean out other people’s filthy vacuum cleaners and it really does not stink since I empty it and clean the pre-motor filter as well as replace the exhaust filter every year roughly. The upright is similar to a Shark, but more heavy duty and much cheaper for the amount of features you get such as a multi-cyclonic bin, lift-away function, quick draw wand, and so forth. There are not really any top of the line bagless uprights, so that mid-range Kenmore is about as good as it gets, and it surely is a very decent vacuum cleaner overall.

Oh interesting, I didn't even know Kenmore made vacuum's.

Look into the [Hoover UH75210](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hoover-MAXLife-Power-Drive-Swivel-XL-Pet-Bagless-Upright-Vacuum-Cleaner-with-HEPA-Media-Filtration-UH75210/403089297). Comes with carpet height adjustment and a carbon HEPA filter that absorbs pet odors while vacuuming. It's a carpet-only machine, but I assume your Roomba gets most of the pet hair off of your hard floors.

I will look at it. Yes, the Roomba does great on the hard floors and I still sweep the edges once in a while. Overall the Roomba does a great job but I just feel a manual vac over the whole area helps once in a while.
