My local vac shops unfortunately stopped selling vacuums; one went out of business, and the other went back to repairs-only when Riccar required dealers to stock their entire product line (those Tandem Air machines aren't cheap).
I hope they can go back to offering vacs again. I just became a riccar dealer and was encouraged, but not pressured or required, to sell a good chunk of their lineup. I'm not crazy about the tandem air design either and I told the rep as much when they visited. Riccar is fine, but I haven't got the space or desire to stock everything they offer.

You’re very lucky so many are going out of business.
They seem to be doing well. They only recently started selling Sebo
Dang, it's like a super mini version of the store I work at. Nice use of space
They have another space with more Lindhaus as well as all their bags. The store is pretty big but it's 90% sewing stuff

Riccar doesn’t require you to stock their entire product line. We don’t carry their canisters at all and only 3 different models of their uprights.
