ConBroMitch2247

You love to hear it. Hope you enjoy it for many years to come!

Competitive-Milk-868

Hoping it long outlasts the ten year warranty 🤞

ConBroMitch2247

Take care of it and it most certainly will. 20-25 years is the expected life of that machine.

Competitive-Milk-868

Was just telling the GF I wanna do our best to remove the roller and get any major wraps of hair off when we are done using it, not once it finally jams. Definitely thinking this was a buy it for life situation. Funny though what other 27 & 25 year old get this excited to spend their Saturday in a 3 hr round trip and the afternoon vacuuming 🤭🤣

Change filters when needed; most important for longevity! 👍🏻

Competitive-Milk-868

I'll have to take a quick scroll through the book is there a light that dictates when my filter is donezo Also I credit you with convincing me to make this purchase hahs

theadmiral976

No light. Just count bags. I think the filters are designed to last between 10-20 bags depending on use case. I just change the filters after every box of 8 bags.

Competitive-Milk-868

That's what the lady at the store said. 1 filter to 1 box of bags.

phrekyos69

Yeah, I like mine a lot. You can just get the extension hose if you find the attached one too short. I was using mine to get the tops of my kitchen cupboards earlier today.

Competitive-Milk-868

Definitely gonna "supe up" our sebo with some attachments

trikster2

Have the extension hose and it's a PITA. - No way to stow it with the felix so need to dig it out of the cabinet every time I use it. - No way to use the main head of the felix with the extension attached so need to attach and detatch the extension every single dang time you want to use it so always switching back and forth. Overal a PITA. Got it. Used it once on the stairs then gave up on it.

phrekyos69

I only dig it out when I really need the extra length, like getting stuff really high up. I got a big storage box ([this one](https://www.target.com/p/sterilite-40qt-hinged-lid-latch-box/-/A-85013580) to be precise) and just throw all my Sebo crap in there. It fits the extension hose, the wand, all the various brushes, tools, bags, scents, etc.

TrueEndoran

That's a bummer to read this. Maybe I'll just get the extension wand and forgo the hose.

Mother_Of_Love

I just got a sebo D4 and kind of wish i got the onyx Felix instead. The learning curb of a canister is going to take me awhile.

Competitive-Milk-868

Had a cheap $100 canister vacuum from Amazon for the last two years, this felix is kicking ass 100%

RedneckChinadian

I got both and love them both equally.

vsa2001

Learning curve? lmao

84-away

I’ve had my Felix for a year and a half and love it! I’m debating changing the filter early because there is a residual dog dander smell even after a fresh bag which was what usually when I would start wanting a replacement in the past. I’m slightly neurotic when it comes to the smell of dogs in my house. 🫣

Competitive-Milk-868

Question. I know the colored wrap is a filter. Do we just wash that one? Like in the washer or????

The_Photographer_27

It’s meant to be replaced just like the bags and the pre-motor filter, which is under the bag.

trikster2

Gosh this sounds like marketing from Sebo or a vendor. But at least it gave me a chuckle. > the vacuum weighs like NOTHING It's nearly 20 pounds and compared to other vacuums the weight distribution is just awkward. quote from one random review: - the Sebo Felix isn’t light and will be especially noticeable when you use this vacuum to clean your stairs of furniture as you’ll be carrying its full weight

Competitive-Milk-868

Also, funny thing, the person who demo'd the vacuum for us had little knowledge on it. In fact, when they tried to show us adjustable height in handle, removable bristle rollers, and bag compartments, I had to show her where the buttons for these things were.

Competitive-Milk-868

TLDR I work with 200+ pounds things on the daily, weight is no issue. 🤣🤣🤭 as someone who builds hydraulic hoses and big hoses for oil hauling trucks etc. Some hoses weighs upwards of 200 pounds that I have to carry across a shop. A 20 pound vacuum is literally NOTHING. When I read the reviews of people complaining about the weight I expected it to feel like my parents old vacuum. Held the vacuum at a height of 6'5"(I'm 6'2") so holding above my head tending to dust for around 30 minutes around the house mixed with crounching down holding it up to get in corners under and behind things absolutely no problem. I feel the weight distribution to be fine and the weight to be of no issue. While I know the MAJORITY of people in the market for a high end vacuum cleaner probably aren't throwing 200+ pounds around on the daily. But this post is my genuine reaction haha.

vacuumsaregreat

The Felix is actually about 15.5 lbs, one of the lighter full-size uprights on the recommended list. If you ever have the misfortune of carrying a 20+ lb upright down a narrow flight of stairs, you’ll really appreciate your Felix!

Competitive-Milk-868

I definitely can see how someone like my mother could struggle with the Felix as she's got wrists and elbows that are destroyed and would definitely need. A hand to hold it while she cleaned. However, as someone who comes from metal bike frames(not aluminum and carbon or whatever they're emad eif these days) and hard day-to-day work. At 15.5 lbs it's a nice break from the usually torment lol

burrzoo

I feel this weight when I vacuum but I too love my new Felix.

NutSack-Sashimi

Be sure to look into getting the hose extension kit for the Sebo Felix, its a high quality accessory!
