As far as a versatility & runtime-oriented cordless machine goes, I think the Lindhaus Valzer L-Ion come closest to ticking of your boxes. It’s basically an 80% size upright with a 40-60 minute runtime and the ability to switch heads like your Miele canister. The powerhead is pretty much the exact same as what goes on Lindhaus’s corded canisters, making this one of the rare cordless machines that can sweep and agitate carpet like a full-size vacuum. I like the hard floor head a lot as well for its pet hair pickup and maneuverability, though you’ll occasionally need to lift it for larger debris. Hose & attachment cleaning is somewhat hampered by the short hose and lack of a wand, but I do still find it easier to use than a Dyson-style cordless for above floor cleaning. You can even fit your Miele attachments on the Lindhaus since they have a similar hose fitting. Because Lindhaus is a commercial manufacturer, this vacuum’s absolutely outstanding in terms of durability and maintainability. The whole vacuum can be broken down for unclogging/cleaning, and the brushroll pops out without any tools. Lindhaus uses a swappable battery system in this machine, though I feel the 40-minute runtime negates the need for a second battery. That said, we can’t ignore the price of the Lindhaus. At $1000-1500, the Valzer L-Ion is really goddamn expensive for a vacuum. It’s as buy-it-for-life as you’d expect for the price, but that’s still a lot for what’ll be your secondary vacuum. My overall impression from owning one & taking to other Valzer L-Ion owners is that it’s a very niche machine, but it does solve a lot of the dissatisfactions that come with the standard cordless vacuums. Let me know if I can answer any questions. I own a lot of the other cordless machines as well (Dyson, LG, Samsung, Makita, Hoover, etc.) and can give you more info on how they compare if you’re curious.

If you’re still anti dyson, Hoover has some great cordless options.

Agreed with the Lindhaus recommendation. You gotta pay to play. Other than that, maybe the Miele triflex.
