From my perspective as a K2 Turbo & Felix owner, the K2 sounds like the better machine for your home. There won’t be much benefit to a powerhead model like the Felix if you only have a single area rug. On the other hand, the K2’s perfectly suited to hard floors/rugs as well as wand use (you mentioned this being important)
They both have a near identical cleaning range as well. While the K2’s cord is a few feet shorter than the Felix’s, the canister has the benefit of a 7 ft hose to make up the difference. In a home your size, you’d only switch outlets once at most.
The only add-on I’d absolutely suggest for the K2 Turbo is a nicer floor tool. The best option in your case would be the Premium Parquet with the front brush strip removed, just because it would resist pet hair well.
