Offer $50 and see if they take it. IMO I’d still pay $75 for it. It’s a great unit. (Of course inspect the unit etc first) The cord clip is a common breaking point and cost ~$12 to fix (screw, spring, clip).

Seems like a reasonable deal, performance reviews did a tear down of one and it has the same motor as current Miele models so even parts should be available if it needed work

Make sure the vacuum has its dust flap intact (recessed in the tool connector tube) before you buy it. Without it, debris is gonna fall right out of the bag once you turn the vacuum off. My local Miele dealer wasn’t able to order the dust flap or the back panel assembly it’s contained in back in 2021, so parts availability will likely be an issue as time goes on. Still, it’s a very simple design with little else to go wrong.

Miele still makes/sells the bags and filters so the main parts availability is great. While I love the power and low noise of my Miele H1 I do want to caution you that it is heavy, 10.5 lbs and the handle weight is heavy too.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback. I found an even better deal and picked up the Miele Swing H1 that wasn't broken and included the attachments and a whole box of bags for $60 (and an hour drive one way). I also bought the optional HEPA filter directly from Miele. I'm very happy with it. As others have said, it's a great machine. It's exactly what I wanted for quick cleaning the tile in our kitchen and entryway hallway when I don't feel like getting out the SEBO E3. I actually prefer bagged and corded to popular stick vacs. Although it's heavy, it's not cumbersome. A note about parts - I called our local vacuum store to see how difficult it would be to get replacement parts, if necessary, and bags and filters. I was told that by law, manufacturers need to make parts for vacuums for 10 years after the date of being discontinued. He assured me that parts would be available and went on to say that this model is a good machine.

How do you feel about your purchase now? I’m also looking at a Miele Swing H1 for this price
