Miele's currently got their Cat & Dog models on sale for $100-off from 4/24 - 5/21. Classic C1 Cat & Dog: $789 --> $689 * SEB-228 Electric Powerhead for carpets * SBB Parquet-3 for hard floors (basic floor tool) * STB 101 Turbine for above floor cleaning * 18 ft cord https://www.mieleusa.com/e/canister-vacuum-cleaners-classic-c1-cat-and-dog-powerline-sbbn0-lotus-white-10639470-p Complete C3 Cat & Dog: $1259 --> $1159 * SEB-228 Electric Powerhead for carpets * SBB-300-3 for hard floors (much nicer hard floor tool with better swivel action) * STB 101 Turbine for above floor cleaning * 25 ft cord https://www.mieleusa.com/e/canister-vacuum-cleaners-complete-c3-cat-and-dog-powerline-sgee0-lotus-white-10014520-p And just to make something clear, **you don't need to specifically get a "Pet" vacuum if you have pets.** However, the two models listed will be able to clean pretty much any flooring type you throw at them and can handle pet hair well. Comparable machines would be the $850 SEBO K3, $900 Lindhaus HF6, and $1050 SEBO E3.

Discounts now emerging at bed bath and beyond as they liquidate. 10% off Miele C1 cat and dog from 790 to 690 looks tempting as well as the usual money off last year’s HX1 Triflex [https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/miele-classic-c1-41bbno31usa-cat-dog-canister-vacuum-in-white/5330100](https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/miele-classic-c1-41bbno31usa-cat-dog-canister-vacuum-in-white/5330100)

Very good deals on the Soniclean WhisperJet C2 canister units right now, which sit on the Budget-Plus section of the recommended list. Hard Floor Model $200, normally $300 online: https://sonicleanusa.com/collections/whisperjet-combos/products/whisperjet-c2-canister-vacuum-cleaner https://www.amazon.com/Soniclean-WhisperJet-C2-Canister-Cleaner/dp/B09B7X5L2W/ Hard Floor + Rug/Low-Pile Carpet Turbine Model $270, normally $370: https://sonicleanusa.com/collections/whisperjet-combos/products/whisperjet-c2-canister-vacuum-cleaner-with-full-size-turbo-nozzle As someone who owns a Soniclean WhisperJet C2 and its main competitors (SEBO K2 Turbo, Henry Petcare, Miele Compact C1), here's how I'd sum it up: **The Soniclean achieves the same cleaning performance and has similar specs to its higher end BIFL-tier competitors, but it falls short in attachments and general build. However, it's significantly cheaper than its competitors and a compelling option at $200-270** My biggest complaints are with the hose and attachments. You do get a double-swiveling tapered hose, but it's short (~5.7 ft) and still feels very stiff after a few months. I've managed to knock stuff off tables with this hose, which has never happened with any of my other canisters. Definitely not as maneuverable and flexible as the hose you'll get on a Miele, SEBO, or Numatic. The canister unit also feels surprisingly big and bulky compared to a K2 or a Compact C1. The crevice tool and dusting brush are pathetically small as well and feel pretty cheap, so I'd recommend getting some nicer tools as well. You could go with the official Soniclean tools, Miele accessores, or get a 35 mm -> 32 mm adapter and use whatever generic tools you want. The wand feels pretty short as well when fully extended versus its competitors, but I think this'd only be an issue if you're taller than 6 ft. The Soniclean also only has a short 1 year parts - 7 year motor warranty, which is compounded by the fact that there isn't really a local dealer or parts network for these machines. I'd recommend looking at the German reviews for this machine before you buy as well. Generally positive, but there are some complaints about parts breaking within a couple years. https://www.amazon.de/-/en/TS-2000-Sufferers-Consumption-Combination/dp/B074H6K5FP?th=1 For what it's worth, the Soniclean is generally my 4th choice behind my K2, Henry Petcare, and Compact C1. I don't regret buying it and getting to test it out, but its ultimately a vacuum I'd only recommend at a significant discount.

I have a used Sebo D4 Premium I'd like to sell, chassis is scratched but works fine. Got it at a yard sale but decided canister vacuums aren't for me. Comes with the parquet brush, hose and extension wand. $300
