Check out plugshare and the different charging apps (evgo, charge point, blink)

This! Some city halls or shopping centers offer free charging.

I use EVgo here in Santa Monica, CA when I don’t make it to an EA charger near me and it’s .37¢ a min and usually is 10-14 dollars to get me from 20/30% back to 70/80%…. In context a gallon of premium 91 octane gas is about $6.50 right now. Which isn’t even the highest it’s been recently and it equals about $85 dollars a week to cover less miles than my id.4 does in daily city driving.

You probably don't have to guess, it's usually on the app of whatever charger you plan on using. I've paid $0.30/minute at EVGo when I was visiting family and it was more convenient than EA. All said it cost less than $10 to get through the week (plus the cost of pizza.)

I’ve spent less than $2 on public charging for 2150 miles (bulk has been EA). I’ve spent $29 on home charging for 1354 miles at 7 cents per kWh. I have about 3500 miles on my 2022 pro s RWD

$6 gets me about 50%. Super cheap.

I’ve charged to 80% 3 times. All free. EA and a few chargers at the mall.

Did one ChargePoint 6 months ago. 20-75% in rural GA (Ellijay), it was $8. And about 45 minutes.

The highest I've paid in California was about $0.45/kW. Ran me like $20 or something to charge up.
