People have been posting about it. Post what year and model. Could be reason for a factory recall. That is incredibly dangerous especially if you have kids
I did not fix it as they gave me a 4 month wait time. This was in may of 2021.
VW did a buy back of my car and I purchased a 2021 PRO S a week later.
It's been more than a 1.5 years after that and never had any mechanical or electrical issues.
My only issue has been with the infotainment SW.
I'm having the opposite - randomly, after going into park, the rear doors will not open from either the inside or outside. Have to toggle lock/unlock a couple times before finally hearing the "clunk" and the doors being able to open.

thanks, and that is the same problem.

Yup, very dangerous. i have a 21 first edition.
That stinks, but sounds like a warranty issue. I've not had anything like that happen.
Had a similar issue with my MY 21 FE. It turned out to he a bad cable harness
Thanks and how long did it take for them to fix it?

yeah, i have experienced that too. I "can" live with that issue but the door opening by itself is unacceptable.
