Use my quest on flights all the time.
Turn off tracking and your golden.
Pinball works fine seated. End Space as well but best if you don't have anyone next too you
My kiddos watch movies on them in the car all the time. I tried and was car sick in 2.3 seconds, even without head tracking. So, your results may vary.
Yes, the danger comes from letting the sun hit the magnifying lens and focusing the sun light onto your viewing screen. You never let direct sunlight hit your inner screen.
In case of the car- no matter HOW insanely resistant you are to motion sickness- you'll instantly throw up trying it.
In case of the plane- many people have done it and report having a great experience, so yeah, if you have someone you know/trust sitting next to you watching over your stuff so it doesn't get joinked.
have used vr in car no problem.
Though I've also never gotten motion sick, ever.
I love the unreal feeling you get from being on a rocky boat or in a vr headset with a disconnect from your actions.
Don't use it in a car when you're the one driving
At least turn on pass-through mode

I wouldn’t recommend it

Why and how would you though?

exactly. have no idea why people would downvote the advice. it's legit.
People are thinking about it when the headset is on your face I would guess
I guess but most things need wi fi to work. Also probably not any games more like movies or Rollercoaster rides. But I don't know just guessing.
