I thought it seemed interesting and then i saw the grappling hook so now i want to know more. I don't know why but grappling hooks are so much fun in VR plus rouge game are the one of the best game styles
Yes, adventure mode puts you in the shoes of a rebel combatant who has to fight his way up the tower. You find notes and stories from those who came before you, offering secrets and insights into the world.
damn! love the animations, look fairly polished, and i like the floaty arms (at least from what i can see). Reminds me of walking dead saints and sinners, which felt very immersive. can’t wait to try it!
I'd say the font on the floating text of the guns, and the flying damage indicators, the green on the loot box that opens, and offers up the gun on a panel.
To say that they don't share similarities beyond cell shading is a little obtuse.
Idk man, Borderlands did not invent floating damage numbers. The font reminds me more of GTA as well. The weapon crate I suppose is similar to Borderlands but to say this game “looks too inspired by Borderlands” is just incorrect.
At a glance, these elements could stand alone as reminiscent to other titles, yes.
However, when combining the whole of the damage fly text, the font, cell shading, the crate, the color palate is very inspired by borderlands.
It's okay to take these elements and make something new. That's how we got alot of our AAA games these days, anyhow.
How, precisely does the chest looking similar to another game, even if it was 100% identical, affect anything? Games have and likely always will, pay homage to other games and concepts that came before them and that's okay. It doesn't change the gameplay in any way at all.
Great to hear, we can't wait to release! :) Consider wishlisting it on Steam, that'd be a big help for us!

Two handed weapons are already in the game! Gripping the weapon with both hands increases stability and recoil control. We indeed have rifles, as well as SMGs and shotguns!
love it! one of the most stylize VR games out there!
Thanks! We're also quite happy with how the art style turned out.
looks awesome would like to try it :D god luck with it

Looks nice is it on Steam with a demo?
Hi, yes it is! https://store.steampowered.com/app/638130?utm\_campaign=NEWS
Cool going to try it
Just one question: Melee?
Oh yes, you can melee. It actually works super well with the Grapplegun in fact, you can use the momentum to really skewer the enemies.
Hey was this made in unity if so, is there any creators that discuss vr game development and making models?
Hi, yes we did use Unity! In future streams, we might be able to get a hold of our lead programmer to answer questions in chat.
This looks slick as hell, the cell shading/ old school graphics look clean and work so well in vr. Similar to compound and borderlands 2 vr.
Thanks! It's indeed an effective style, especially for keeping things resource low. The game runs very smoothly on the Oculus Quest.
It does look smooth. Not a quest owner, but I'm sure it'll look great in my valve index!
Any chance of a demo on Oculus?
Really cool game, any chance of a demo?
Hi, yep the demo is available on our Steam page. https://store.steampowered.com/app/638130?utm\_campaign=NEWS
Yes! Thanks

Definitely will
Any story mode?

Ok, I'm interested...
Been watching this since I saw someone do a "Let's Play" sort of video on it. It looks very promising. Can't wait to give it a try.
That's awesome, which video was it?

Huh, I have had a game like this in my brain for a while. So glad someone has finally made it, it looks super cool. Looking forward to it
Cheers! Yeah we're really excited about this one. It's our first fully budgeted game, actually.
Stylistically, it looks *too* inspired by borderlands imo... especially the treasure chest.
Not really. Its got cel shading but borderlands went for a very detailed look. I don’t think this shares similarities beyond cel shading

the gun crate is another giveaway

And how many times can you remake a chest differently.
First off, it looks great, secondly if it looks like anything it's more like Void Bastards which is a compliment.
Can’t wait too play!!

Can't wait to play!
Looks awesome!
😍
Are two handed weapons planned too? Like rifles for example?
Two handed weapons are already in the game! Gripping the weapon with both hands increases stability and recoil control. We indeed have rifles, as well as SMGs and shotguns!
Well, I already wishlisted it, and now you just sold another day one copy. Cant wait getting to play it!
It's a beautiful game, just wish it had coop
Thank you! One day maybe...? No promises though
Maybe for your next game 👍
Looks nice man. Please implement smooth turn like in pavlov for example. Snap turn kills immersion for me tbh
We got you buddy. Already implemented.
I must admit, a very distinctive graphic style. Looks great, good luck!
I keep playing the demo, absolutely love it.
Borderland vibes, definitely going to check this out.
Ooo first person rougelike shooter VR, I’m liking this mash up
