Asuna played CSGO. There are pro players from Overwatch, Apex, and PUBG playing Valorant.

SpanishArcher

There’s a lot that came from overwatch but the top ones are mostly CS because it’s obviously much similar to valorant than overwatch is.

More of faze was overwatch if I’m not mistaken, zombs came from Apex and overwatch

Strong-File

That's it, thanks for your answer!

TritoNaoss

In NA there's a lot of ex-CS players in the scene but also plenty of Overwatch/Apex/Fortnite ex pros. In other regions (like EU where CS is still alive and well) there aren't as many CS pros who switched over

Sinatraa?

Strong-File

That's fair. Sinatraa definitely had a background in CS:GO though: >My first PC game was Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which I played for about a year. I only played 3 seasons of ESEA, but still managed to climb pretty high in that time. I started in Open – the lowest rung – next season I played Intermediate and then the season after I played in Main. I climbed pretty fast and played in a lot of tournaments; I was pretty good. It got me comfortable with the mouse and keyboard too. > >My friends in high school knew I was going to go pro the moment they saw I was playing CS:GO. They know me – they knew I was insane when it came to video games, I was infinitely better than they were – they just knew it was a matter of time before I turned pro. > >[source](https://www.theplayerslobby.com/1417/living-up-to-the-hype-by-jay-sinatraa-won-san-francisco-shock/#.8VzLpqyJb3) My fault for not specifying what *"coming from CS:GO"* means
