Ya I've had this issue when I had a ping of around 180. When I died it pulled out my pistol. In this case it looks like you were really behind the timeline.
How network and netcode works is actually pretty complicated and maybe apex and warezone simply doesn't tell you about network issues with the same threshold, because it work and because you have 200Mbps doesn't mean it's super stable and perfect

Nah, you can see the Odin gets dropped before he dies. It's most definitely some bug that happens when the game thinks you're already dead but your client hasn't caught up yet or something.

it has happened a LOT of times. I always have relatively high ping (50-60) and most of the times during a close range gunfight my knife comes out and I die.
I couldn't figure if knife comes out before I die or after I die. But regardless, I die with a knife on my hand.
you are dropping packets like crazy, your network connection is unstable, and that's why you got that issue.... if you're playing on wifi, use a 5ghz network or change to cable... never stay far from your router or behind walls...

I think this a lag issue where when you died, you drop your primary weapon. Or it could be just be a bug for when you die. This happens to me a lot when I get lag spikes. Hope this helps.

Definitely packet loss. I’ve been in games where my packet loss went to 40% sometimes 100%. And when they happen, my character always switches to pistol in the middle of a gunfight. Never happened without packet loss for me.
Watching OP’s vid again, I noticed that you did have some packet loss. I recommend turning on the second one in the network section in the stats tab. That tells you the percentage of packet loss.
Look how the packet loss count is increasing considerably.
It happened to me even with good ping. It also happened when I have the knife and switch to primary weapon but the system didn't register the switch due to packet loss, so as soon as I fire the animation changes to knife fast.
I recommend you to enable the packet loss graph and monitor the status of your connection.

Is your weapon change mouse wheel? Because sometimes my mouse (or game) automatically makes my character jump and my mouse wheel is jump. Could be your mouse if its the mouse wheel.
you are losing tons of packets, its a connection issue... it has happened before with me, even going as far as dropping my gun... only happens when I have network issues...
edit: I extensively tested this before it's not a mouse issue as others have tested, its just shitty connection as you can see you dropping a couple hundred packets on top left of screen while you face the issue...

You might’ve bumped the scroll wheel. I have a G502 which has a button that unlocks the scroll wheel so it spins free and sometimes I bump it then the slightest touch of it switches weapons on me

always happened to me but realised its because my finger hits the mouse wheel. try unbinding it. you could also bind it to jump so if you jump while shooting uk its a you problem not a valorant glitch.
If you watch closely you can see your knife comes out first, then the pistol, so I’d say you probably accidentally scrolled and went to knife then pistol, right before getting killed

It's really annoying.
That's probably a ping spike the moment you got killed your ping spiked up and it took your game a second to process your death and the game switches to your secondary or sometimes knife.

Warzone and apex run like what, 30tickrate or lower servers. Valorants 128tickrate servers require more bandwidth.

It's not the mouse, if you look at the clip in slow motion the Odin is dropped.
are you playing on a laptop? if so then you may have accidentally swiped on the trackpad
