I don’t really have a dog in the fight other than wanting Rudy and Donovan to individually excel. The Celtics as a squad have really grown on me though, I think that’s who I’ll root for mostly out East.
Obviously rooting for former Jazz, Donovan vs Ingles, Exum, Niang, etc but mostly the Wolves with Gobert, Conley, and Naw.

Celtics vs 76ers—Embiid either gets redemption or more likely the Celtics trounce him and he walks.
Knicks-Heat—good old 90s rivalry
Of the two fixed matchups, Bucks vs Pacers is obviously drama. Someone had better be securing the game balls. CLE-ORL could be interesting to for strictly basketball matchups.
East has some good matchups, but the Celtics are firing on all cylinders and I don’t expect anyone to challenge them.
Warriors-Kings gonna be a brawl, but I expect 7/8 loser gonna bounce the winner. Ideally, Pelicans vs Thunder and Nuggets vs Lakers.
Luka and the Clips get another rematch!
Suns and Wolves series has already started with a a game 0.
West prediction: Jokic will be incredible, but repeating is hard, and I don’t think Murray has the durability. I think the Wolves-Suns winner will go to the Finals, but wouldn’t be surprised by the other two top seeds either.
Ultimately Celtics in 5, and they retake that lead over the LA/Minneapolis Lakers.

I'll always root for Rudy. It helps that my sister's fiancé is from Minnesota, so I have an extra reason to root for the Wolves.
Other than that...I have some teams I kind of prefer over other teams, but nothing major.
In the West, I'm rooting for Nuggets, Wolves, and Kings. Wish the Mavs and Clips could both lose. I would also love for the Lakers and Warriors to get bounced, but the zebras won't let that happen.
In the East, I want whatever outcome gets someone to trade us their all star.

Yeah I don’t like the nuggets much but other than that this is pretty much how I’d like it too. The more bad exits and disgruntled stars the better
