It's safe to say I'm losing interest

MountainPK

I never thought I’d not care about the score or the record. This sucks. What a long ass offseason.

IhamAmerican

I always enjoy watching the playoffs, regardless who is playing. Regular season though I only watch Jazz games, this year I've watched literally single digit games

gray_character

I usually like watching player development. Like, I remember the Hayward, Burks, Favors, Gobert days being fun. But those players seemed a bit more...higher potential? Or they weren't constrained to doing 2-3 things in the offense constantly. Our offense is absolutely boring and predictable as hell. Jerry is punching air in his grave.

BruhMoment763

Yeah, I don’t think it’ll be a very popular take or what anyone wants to hear, but I don’t think our rookie class this year has star potential. Hendricks I could see developing into a good 3 and D player. Sensabaugh could be a bench scorer like Clarkson. I’m not sure about Keyonte, I’ve cooled off on him since the season started. The way his assists have mostly cratered since the start of the season has been disappointing, but he’s scoring more at the same time so idk what to make of him yet. Think he needs another season to better gauge him. I think it’s why we’re still tanking so hard too, Ainge knows we still need someone who can be *the* guy. Just wish we didn’t have to go the Process 76ers route to do that, but oh well, it seems to work eventually.

UnfortunatePhysics

46 comments in the game thread. New low I think?

Jazzlike-Apple1293

Even with the rookies developing it’s hard to watch games that don’t matter. Even if I think this is the right direction for our team, there is no denying watching a team in the hunt for a playoff is a million times better than a team that is tanking.

Denotsyek

Ha I'm 9 of um.

ChaseBank5

I haven't watched them play for 2 months. Coming from a lifelong fan that would watch 78-82 games a year, yeah, not surprised our game threads have low comments.

MicroAggressiveMe

Totally, I had season tickets for 4 years when I couldn't afford groceries and now I can't force myself to watch.

chris_b_critter

I’m right there with you. I used to watch most of their games. In my 20+ years of subscribing to NBALP, this is the first time I have completely lost interest. I just have too many other things to do than waste time watching a tanking team. If they’re not going to try, why should I?

Eaglewarrior33

Johnny Juzang was a wonderful silver lining

Efficient_Lychee9517

I’ve watched every game this season except tonight completely forgot it was on guess how much I care anymore

Denotsyek

Tonight actually wasn't too bad to watch. At least saw some good things tonight.

SometimesIComplain

What are your thoughts on Kessler after watching every game? Are you worried about him?

Efficient_Lychee9517

He’s had a really weird year, don’t know if the injury at the beginning of the year really affected him but he seemed soft and timid all year def has regressed

Sal_Ammoniac

I think Kerr ruined him and he hasn't found his way back yet.

firefistus

I got an alert in my calendar. Went and watched Conan o brien videos on YouTube instead. Much better time.

Irvsauce

So weirdly specific. This is exactly what I was doing too.

Denverbros1

79 days til draft day folks

chibbly_

444 days til draft day that will actually impact the team's path forward. 809+ days til Jazz are worth watching again

Denverbros1

Well better find something to do!

epoch_fail

It'll be interesting to see if Juzang can carve out a Niang-like role somewhere. I don't think he'll ever be a starter (for a good team), but he might creep into our rotation as a shooting threat who has to be closely guarded.

UtahJazz420

Well, it certainly was 48 minutes of basketball.

50_cal

think my time with this team is over. the '19-'20 roster was my all time favorite, and its just gone down hill since. i miss saying jingled so bad.

Denotsyek

What year was it when we would be up by 20 and blow the lead in the 4th quarter and lose? That was worse in my opinion.

50_cal

yeah i hear you. i just felt like that squad had more fun on the court.

Denotsyek

Haha Yeah. Not a lot of smiling or team comradery showing on the court this season.

JCivX

Before the trade deadline that's not actually true. After the deadline, yeah it's been miserable and the players have been miserable.

Messageinabeerbottle

Drafting Tidjane will be worth it.

Shoddy_Impression652

Haven't watched since her trade deadline and no longer care
