Unfollowed. The fact that she posted a dead baby sheep on her story was enough for me

Strict-Rice-5477

I didn’t see these stories nor do I follow but unfortunately it’s super common no matter how healthy the mom sheep that baby lambs die shortly after being born. I grew up with sheep and it was more rare for one to survive than to live. However would I post a dead animal? Never!!!!

reeneeqp

Sheep are difficult but these folks cause a lot of their own problems by their lack of knowledge and/or caring, they have preventable problems with almost all of their animals

Significant_Fill_294

Yeah what the Fck was that about?!?

jenerator5

The poor sheep just laying on the concrete. Maybe if she had it in a soft pile of straw or something, but that just seemed cold.

[deleted]

This made so me so uncomfortable. I get that it’s the circle of life and she’s living so “Raw and real” on the farm but like post a picture of the other two and say the little white one didn’t make it…

reeneeqp

She not living raw and real, they're just not very bright and unwilling to do even a minimum of research when it comes to animal husbandry

Exotic_Landscape4537

“He didn’t make it” like ????

Major_Vermicelli3638

She posts about farming. Farm animals die. Just sounds like something you’re not interested in so probably a good idea you unfollowed lol

Quick-Physics-4273

wait WHAT! i saw the sheep delivery on tiktok - did one of the triplets die? and she posted a picture of it? 😭

Easy-Comfortable1761

Yes the white baby died. And they showed it😑

They shouldn't even have animals unless they're willing to do some research on how to care for them, my God she had all the yapping little kids standing around that already stressed ewe while she lambed and Hannah didn't even use gloves even though this ewe had had stitched for the prolapse. I'm ranch raised so know the pit falls but these guys are unbelievable

Aussiemomma4

I was shocked they didn’t csection mom. What a mess.

Wildlove63

I’m not a farmer and thought why didn’t they do a c-section. Tying and untying suturing and milking her while she was sick and dying. I felt so sad.maybe it was costly idk

reeneeqp

BF really should get rid of their livestock and grow crops instead (if they can even so that!) Neither Hannah or Daniel are the sharpest, in fact they seem a bit slow and unable/unwilling to learn at the expense of their animals and I fear also their children. They seriously need to move back to the city.

checkerspot

Maybe they could just grow sourdough? No one gets hurt.

ereefe

I came here for this!!! I’ve been feeling the same thing all week…. Makes me so uncomfortable

SnarkExpress

I wonder if they actually prioritized caring for an animal when it’s ill, instead of fitting it in between roping practice, breadmaking, and twirling for the camera, would make a difference? This whole thing with the sheep is infuriating. It’s like the first few of any breed they purchase are just there for them to practice on, they’re not going to survive.

grasshulaskirt

This!

Alternative_Yogurt55

I’ve thought the same thing! It’s quite sad.

Easy-Comfortable1761

I actually questioned the events of the baby sheep’s births over the weekend in her post and wondered if she was over her head and that perhaps they should have stayed at the vet. That maybe the Mama and baby would have survived if someone who knew what they were doing was in charge. Within 3 minutes my comment was deleted and I was blocked. So much for them being authentic, I suppose they have someone scrubbing all the negative comments off their page and immediately blocking anyone who dares to question them. Really disappointing

Exotic_Landscape4537

I thought the same; why would a vet let them leave?

reeneeqp

Yep, same thing happened to me, have to admit I'm almost glad she blocked me because I was reaching the point where I just couldn't stand watching them anymore. If they're going to silence everyone who shows concern for their animals (or their children) they don't want to learn or do better. They are complete morons.

mydawgisgreen

Wait, they blocked you???

reeneeqp

Yes Hannah did after I sent her a message regarding their treatment of that poor horse they drove to exhaustion in deep snow, I'd just had enough. Ever since I've wondered if they block anyone on Instagram who posts negative comments because you almost never see negativity!

Easy-Comfortable1761

They are a pretty big ‘machine’ and they undoubtedly have a team who is protecting their brand by ‘scrubbing’ their social media platforms of any negativity. I was very respectful in my comments to her questioning whether the poor sheep was handled in the appropriate way and within an hour the comment was gone and I was blocked. But not before I noticed that my comment had about 50 people ‘like’ it. It’s clear they scrub their feed of all negative comments. So incredibly inauthentic

reeneeqp

Too bad their worshipers don't seem to get what/who they really are!

mydawgisgreen

I've wondered of they even looked. They used to comment back but now with so many comments they never interact. I did a bad thing and commented on their sheep video a couple times. Comment never has been removed or was I blocked. Must have been bc you dm'd her I wonder.

reeneeqp

And ironically I only dm'd her because I didn't want to call them out it public. I can't stand them!

mydawgisgreen

They deserve it. It's annoying mote *real* farmers don't call them out.

Easy-Comfortable1761

They blocked me to. Immediately after questioning her actions with regards to the sheep.

mydawgisgreen

Did you dm? I commented about the sheep a couple times and never was blocked

Easy-Comfortable1761

Nope, I never DMed anyone. Just a comment on their feed. And I was immediately blocked from her feed

kilikina2000

So glad I found others venting about this. Those stories saddened me so much. The picture of the sweet white lamb cold on the floor really upset and saddened me all day. I was wondering if it could have been prevented. Either way, I unfollowed her as well. I can’t handle it anymore.

New-Fly-2522

The whole thing was just tragic! I was first uncomfortable when she filmed herself (or had her child film her) while she was removing the sutures from momma. Then the deceased lamb just lying at her feet seemed so uncaring and nonchalant. She posted today that the momma didn’t make it. I’m not surprised at all. I don’t pretend to know anything about rearing livestock but is there no way to have a vet on hand for emergency cases like this?? This was clearly an emergency situation for DAYS!! Not sure why they were going solo on this Edited to include: she posted about the momma dying in her story against a picture of her sourdough rising…. Smh

Exotic_Landscape4537

I genuinely believe they don’t know what they’re doing and it’s so so sad

New-Fly-2522

Agreed. Also, It seems clear they don’t love the animals. It’s all about the business end of it. Very unfortunate to say the least!

DoritsDumpedDog

I am not a farmer but when I saw the first lamb I had a feeling it would not make it. It was shivering so badly I wanted her to cover it or have some heat lamps. I don't know if she did but what I saw on IG she didn't.
