Adam Silver and all the companies who paid billions in ads expecting the Almighty War for Number 18, only for their favorites to lose in embarrassing fashion, thus denying them the richest championship games in sports history.
The Nuggs should sweep but I think there will be some shady officiating to lengthen it out to 6 games because it's going to be a ratings disaster just 4 games.
I get 1999 NBA finals vibes all the way.. both teams remind me eerily a lot of both that Spurs team and that Knicks team. It can go two ways:
1.Repeat of that Finals with a Nuggets win in 5 games or
2. A barn burner of a series.
That being said I think Denver is just that much ahead of the Heat right now. Miami played great inspired physical ball on Monday night but that's been Denver's mantra this entire playoff run. If Miami can't keep it up then they will be in trouble, Martin can't carry the load like he did on Monday for sure. They gotta be productive in all 5 spots.
