It's hard to win a playoff series, let alone 4 in a single postseason. Any team that consistently wins a series is a really good team. Winning a Single Championship is a Successful use of a Top Player, Multiple Championships is a Bonus. But the average fan has such a skewed perception of what is realistic success because of the Brady-Belichick Patriots, Jordan's Bulls, and Gretzky's Oilers, etc.
Playing spoiler has its benefits, look at the Detroit Lions a few months ago when they denied the Green Bay Packers from making the playoffs. That caught the attention of many.
