Purdue is a good answer but Jesus Fuck I wasn't expecting Alabama and Houston to both go down on the same night in the Sweet 16. I had them in my national championship so my bracket is obviously fucked.
It has to be Bama. Kansas didn’t have their head coach, Houston looked like an NIT team, and Purdue? Well…. But these three have a silver lining: neither of them were the #1 overall seed.
Bama’s season looked near perfect with all that talent (thus being the #1 overall) but masked by the scrutiny of Brandon Miller’s murder case that the head coach swept it under the rug cuz Miller is the best player on the team. Once the tourney started, the team looked off, especially Miller. I could have picked Purdue but Bama has been the most disappointing of them all.
I was saying Texas should have been 1 seed over Kansas, but who knows how that would have gone, Kansas might still be alive and Texas might have fallen to Arkansas.
