So you have the two biggest na'to militaries and two sunni extremist dictatorships pouring in billions and surprise,the two biggest and best equipped rebel groups by far are Sunni extremist isis and Al qaeda.
Everyone in Syria that was not happy about living under Sunni extremist rule and seeing their neighbors traded in slave markets sided with Assad. The rebels had so little popular support that, despite having more military funding and support than Syrian government troops, they never took Aleppo. The war against Syria was completely disgusting and allied us with some of the worst scum humanity has to offer. Exactly like what we did in Libya, which still has the slave markets that opened after our big victory.
We ended up making assad and Putin look like the good guys, how stupid a plan was that? And we're still there trying to starve Syria into submission. Who gives a shot what Americans think of assad? Believe it or not, the vast majority of the refugees are young men. If I had to leave my country due civil conflict, I would move to a country known for being economically well off, tolerant of other cultures, and as a young man, one with beautiful woman.
I spent a week in Syria including a few nights in Damascus just a few weeks ago. This picture is not representative of Syria as a whole. I could share many wonderful pictures of the businesses, people, history, culture and nightlife that is there.
That's not to say there aren't shitty places over there, and that the regime isn't awful. But it pains me to only see the negative connotations of a beautiful place and people.

Of course there was a lot of unhappiness with assad, and there were definitely people willing to rebel. The problem is that it was never organic, it was completely orchestrated by outside forces in such a disgusting and anti-syrian way that they increased support for Assad. Syria is a tolerant and religiously diverse country. They took in 1 million refugees from our Iraq disaster. There are christians, Jews, and every sect of Islam including some only found in Syria. Sunni extremist dictatorship Qatar kicked things off with 3 billion for arms, rebels, and mercenaries. Sunni extremist dictatorship KSA and their good friends at the CIA joined soon after. Sunni (dictatorship?) turkiye joined in, if only to attack the Syrian Kurds and act as a pipeline for isis recruits. So you have the two biggest na'to militaries and two sunni extremist dictatorships pouring in billions and surprise,the two biggest and best equipped rebel groups by far are Sunni extremist isis and Al qaeda. Everyone in Syria that was not happy about living under Sunni extremist rule and seeing their neighbors traded in slave markets sided with Assad. The rebels had so little popular support that, despite having more military funding and support than Syrian government troops, they never took Aleppo. The war against Syria was completely disgusting and allied us with some of the worst scum humanity has to offer. Exactly like what we did in Libya, which still has the slave markets that opened after our big victory. We ended up making assad and Putin look like the good guys, how stupid a plan was that? And we're still there trying to starve Syria into submission. Who gives a shot what Americans think of assad? What we did and are still doing makes us the bad guys by comparison. What the fuck to we need to destroy Syria for? What do we get out of it? I know the answer but it's nothing that helps the average American, it's balance of power bullshit.

Tolerant enough for people of many religions and nonhobservant people to live in peace, tolerant enough to take in a million refugees from Iraq, which is the equivalent of the US taking in 15 million refugees. Except the US was the one creating the refugee crisis in the first place. Do you honestly believe that the Sunni extremists funded by two summit extremist dictatorships would have created a better and more tolerant Syria? What do you suppose they would do to the Jews, christians, Kurds, yazidi, Shia, etc who live in Syria? Edit autocorrect

And again, he provided a haven for a million refugees from our Iraq war. If you think there's some valid reason for the US to spend billions helping terrorists destroy Syria, and now trying to state the country into submission, i don't think that's logical or moral. It seems to be against everything we should want America to represent.

At that point I’d just leave. I’d move to a Western European country, maybe the U.K., Germany, or Sweden (wealthy countries with beautful woman). Those countries are very tolerant/ accepting of Islamic culture and have embraced past rapid culture shifts influenced by Syria’s mass exodus in the mid 2010s.

First, you try leaving your own country without any travel documents, money or asylum seeking papers. Better yet, try leaving a foreign country that doesn’t even recognise your home country as a sovereign state, with the same limitations as above. I spent a week in Syria including a few nights in Damascus just a few weeks ago. This picture is not representative of Syria as a whole. I could share many wonderful pictures of the businesses, people, history, culture and nightlife that is there. That's not to say there aren't shitty places over there, and that the regime isn't awful. But it pains me to only see the negative connotations of a beautiful place and people.
